The Brainwashing Class at Xinglongshan Agricultural College is Called Off

(Clearwisdom.net) The brainwashing class at Xinglongshan Agriculture College in Changchun City, Jilin Province, held by Section One of the Changchun City Police Department and the Jilin Province Judicial Department, began after the Spring Festival of 2001. Due to the determination and resolve of most Falun Dafa practitioners to verify the Fa and safeguard the Fa, the brainwashing class ended on October 26, 2001 after nine months in operation. All Falun Dafa practitioners were released unconditionally.

More than a hundred practitioners were forced to attend the brainwashing class. Altogether five male and four female practitioners have walked out by maintaining righteous thoughts. Twenty others were released unconditionally, also with the aid of righteous thoughts and their unfailing determination in Dafa. During their detention, Dafa practitioners upheld righteous thoughts and treated others with compassion. In the Fa-rectification process they managed to "Validate the Fa with reason, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and offer people salvation with benevolence -- this is establishing the mighty virtue of an enlightened being." (Teacher's article "Rationality"). While being persecuted and tortured at the brainwashing class, they did not forget to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to the judiciary officers.

The methods used to torture practitioners included: opening windows and doors in the middle of winter [to freeze practitioners]; only allowing practitioners go to the bathroom at certain times; forbidding them to talk, forbidding those determined practitioners to see their families; and searching their sleeping quarters. Practitioners were forced to watch the video released after July 20, 1999, which slandered Dafa and our venerable Master. They were also forced to study the so-called "study materials" [that defame Dafa] and had to wear badges with "brainwashing class" written on them in black and white. Practitioners were beaten and struck forcefully.

During this time, some judicial officers understood the truth about Falun Dafa from the depths of their hearts. Meanwhile some officers with no compassion at all continued to torture and abuse the practitioners without restraint under the control of evil forces. Now some of them have met with retribution.

1. Changchun City Police Department Section One police officer, Zhang Zhenzheng, who used to beat and hit practitioners, has contracted cirrhosis of the liver at the age of 20.
2. Wang Chu, in his 40s, from Changchun City Judicial Department is a very sly and manipulative person. When he first arrived, he used the ruse of caring for practitioners in order to gain some information. He would then order the judiciary officers to hit the practitioners. He received retribution when he became ill and was hospitalized for a week. When he came back, practitioners advised him not to continue in his ways. Not only did he not listen, he became even more malicious. Not long after, he suffered a stroke and had to be hospitalized again. He is still in the hospital.

Here, to those who view Dafa as an enemy, we would like to say that Falun Dafa and "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance" are universal laws. Please do not do bad deeds or help others do bad deeds against your own conscience. The heavenly law that says "good will be rewarded with good and evil will be met with evil" will never change.
