Stage One:
The vicious guards in the forced labor camp slandered Dafa with their evil theories. They used various slanderous means to deceive Dafa practitioners and everyday people. They produced materials filled with fabrications about Falun Gong, but we Dafa practitioners saw right through them.
Stage Two:
Two men and two women from Beijing, all four aggressors against Dafa, momentarily confused some people with their ideas. Those steadfast Dafa practitioners, who were not affected by the betrayers' evil and oppressive ideas, were transferred to teams who forced them to do labor. When doing the work, the wicked guards asked the other prisoners in the camp to physically punish Dafa practitioners. Three Dafa practitioners were forced to carry soil, but it was too heavy for them to carry on their shoulders, so they fell down. The bad prisoner, who forced the practitioners to carry soil, received due retribution. He also fell down and sprained his ankle. For a long period of time he limped while walking.
A special personnel member of the camp staff was assigned to force a 53-year-old Dafa practitioner to do hard labor. One time, he walked about 4 li [about 1.2 miles] with 100-jin [about 111 pound] of fertilizer on top of his shoulders as well as carrying several washbasins (porcelain sinks) in his hand. His whole body was covered with mud and water everyday, but he wasn't allowed to clean or wash with other prisoners after work at night. He had to wait until the prisoner who watched him arrived. He was forced to stand while others rested during noon and night rest periods. He was never allowed to rest. Despite this, the vicious guards requested that they be allowed to increase the intensity.
Everyone wantonly humiliated him either during work or in the ward. One time, instigated by the vile guards, the prisoner who watched him, only allowed him to defecate once every three days, and didn't allow him to urinate. He always cursed the practitioner. He also wrote our Teacher's name on the ground with a piece of chalk and forced him to step on it, but he refused. Everyday the guards forced him to write the so-called "guarantees" to give up practicing Falun Gong. Each time after successfully forcing a Dafa practitioner to give up cultivation, they could not only receive a bonus of 400 Yuan RMB (the average monthly pay of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan RMB), but also received a promotion. So they could get both official titles and money. The police sent two Dafa practitioners, who had not given up their cultivation since the beginning, directly to the mental hospital right after they were released from the detention center. They haven't returned home yet. (They were released from the labor camp in April.)
Stage Three:
Practitioners cannot be deceived for long. After a period of time (about 2 months), those practitioners, who momentarily gave up practicing their cultivation, came to realize their mistakes from the perspective of the Fa. One after another they wrote statements to the guards in the forced labor camps declaring that they would begin to cultivate Dafa again. For this they endured an arduous struggle against evil.
On November 16, the vicious people had to declare that they failed. They sent all the practitioners who had previously given up cultivation to different teams and tortured them by forcing them to do heavy labor work. Two guards as well as the director also lived in the ward. They didn't allow Dafa practitioners to talk, and took the Teacher's new articles away from them. They refused to accept Dafa practitioners' statements, which declared their forced brainwashing as invalid. Finally the director was unable to advance any further with his arguments to justify himself, and had to say, "From now on, I will not talk about Falun Gong. You were sent here for forced labor education, so you just do labor work in the teams."
Of course, the working environments of Dafa practitioners and other prisoners were entirely different. There was a saying in the camp, "If there are one hundred Falun Gong (practitioners) being detained here, we won't have to do labor work. Falun Gong (practitioners) will take care of everything." Every Falun Gong practitioner was overseen by two prisoners in the daytime. During the night, a prisoner didn't need to do labor work, and was specially assigned to watch a Dafa practitioner. Even a few guards who still had a little bit of conscience left said, "This is a political plot."
Although the evil has used all kinds of schemes, methods, tricks, and has had every evil thought possible, Dafa practitioners still persevere. At present, the first group of practitioners who were collectively persecuted, except for very few, all cultivate steadfastly. Some are still illegally detained in the forced labor camps. Some were twice sent to the forced labor camps. Some have been released.
Since the police didn't allow Dafa practitioners to declare their forced brainwashing invalid, the practitioners who have been released from the forced labor camp wrote a collective statement and directly sent it to both the provincial and Beijing Judicial Department. This meant the forced labor camp could no longer deny that their forced brainwashing thoroughly failed.
The guards shocked Dafa practitioners with electric batons, and didn't allow them to sleep for eight or even more than ten days. One Dafa practitioner once heard the vile guards say, "If they still refuse to give up cultivation, we can give them a kind of injection. A few days after being injected, they will die without any marks."
The followings are some detailed cases of vile guards persecuting Dafa:
1. One Dafa practitioner (male, about 36-years-old) was beaten to death. The vicious police gave his family 30,000 Yuan as compensation. They didn't allow his family members to tell others.
2. One Dafa practitioner went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. The vile police tortured him and force-fed him through tube insertion. The tube was inserted into his lung, causing lung dropsy and bleeding. He was then released.
3: One female Dafa practitioner was handcuffed and hung up by vile police in the police station. The handcuffs cut into her flesh, and she was brutally beaten.
4. One Dafa practitioner was beaten by 20 prisoners in the male detention center for 21 days. The people didn't stop beating him until they received retribution. They had pains in the abdomen, hands and feet. However, the Dafa practitioner's entire body had been injured due to the beatings.
5. In Beijing Detention Center, the vicious people poured cold water on one male practitioner for 3 hours (in March).
6. Some practitioners were shocked directly with alternating current.
7. In order to force the practitioners to give up cultivation, the wicked police used the Dafa practitioners' relatives, who didn't know the truth, to harass them.
8. They have forcibly held three sessions of brainwashing classes, which infringed upon the Dafa practitioners' personal freedom. The police station officials requested that Dafa practitioners ask for leave when they wanted to go out.
9. Dafa practitioners were not allowed to stay in groups of three. They made guarantees level by level to the higher authorities that they would strictly watch Dafa practitioners at home. The province made the guarantee to the central government, the city to the province, the county to the city, the town to the county, and the village to the town. Otherwise, they would lose their positions.
10. Implication: if one person practiced the exercise, the whole family would be implicated.
11. Dafa practitioners living in a poor area were forced to pay the expenses for the brainwashing classes. If they could not afford it, they would be forced to sell their furniture, grains, etc.
12. Once Dafa practitioners are arrested, they are sent to the forced labor camps on the same day.
13. The vile police received awards for beating Dafa practitioners to injury or death. There was no need to go through any procedure for Dafa practitioners. They frequently ransacked the practitioners' homes.
14. The police in the forced labor camp could get a "bonus" of 4,000 Yuan if they successfully forced one Dafa practitioner to give up cultivation. In the brainwashing classes, a guard would earn 30-Yuan everyday (40 days in total) in addition to a "bonus" of 1,000 Yuan if he could make one Dafa practitioner give up cultivation. If nobody gave up cultivation, they would earn only 10-Yuan everyday.
15. One policeman instigated the prisoners in the detention center to beat a Dafa practitioner, causing two of his ribs to break. As a result, that policeman received due retribution, and died half a month later.
