The small Liuqiu is an island of Pingdong County. Falun Dafa practitioners from Pingdong County actively joined the SOS Walk around the island to clarify the truth. More than 100 practitioners participated in the activity, which lasted for two days including the experience exchange conference on the morning of November 24, 2001.

At noon on November 24, 2001, the practitioners went to small Liuqiu by boat and started the activities to spread Dafa in the afternoon. They distributed literature that clarifies the truth and introduces Falun Gong from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. The practitioners formed groups with about 10 in each and distributed truth-clarifying materials on the persecution of Falun Gong in China to all residents along different routes.

From 6:30 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. on November 24, 2001, a workshop on Falun Gong introduction was held in a small auditorium. Firstly, the video The Path of Returning to One's True Self was shown. Many local people attended. Then four couples stepped forward and shared their experience of cultivation. Two other practitioners also gave speeches to validate Dafa with their own experiences. Then the demonstration of the five sets of exercises was followed and free teaching was offered on the spot. An 11 year-old fifth grade girl also showed others the exercises. Her demo was great! She was actively responsible for teaching five younger children. At the end, a song was played. The practitioners stayed in Liuqiu at night in hotels around the harbor.

From 4:55 to 7:05 a.m. early next morning (November 25, 2001, Sunday), all the practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts on the breakwater along the coast concurrently with all practitioners around the world. After the second time of sending forth righteous thoughts, a large round red sun rose.

After breakfast, the practitioners lined up and started walking. Another 22 practitioners just getting off the boat also joined the team and made the lineup even longer. The practitioners participating ranged from 3 years old to over 80 year old.

Along the way, the practitioners who were broadcasting to clarify the truth had a clear voice with uncommon strength. Some practitioners said, "When the female broadcaster said, "Falun Dafa is Good" or "Falun Dafa is a righteous Fa," all the golden Dafa flags and banners emitted bright dazzling brilliance. It was indescribably magnificent and remarkable." Many local people on the way applauded us to express their support and some had their thumbs up while saying, "Falun Dafa is really good!"
