Deeply Touched by Falun Gong at the Health Expo

We donated our own vacation, spare time and our own money to introduce Falun Gong and its persecution by the Chinese government to the public. Many people had never heard of Falun Gong, yet were very interested. Many fellow exhibitors came over to our booth and told us that our booth was the most attractive and expressed interest in finding out more about Falun Gong.

A young woman came up to our display table. I told her about the cruel persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese government; she was deeply touched. I also told her that before practicing Falun Gong I used to have different types of arthritis but am now very healthy and happy. Falun Dafa taught me how to face daily life using the principles of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance."

I told her that "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" is the cosmic Law. Many sages in history lived their lives according to this principle. Everyone should live by "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance." It is meaningless if you just mouth the words.

I also told her about one of my friends. He had read the Bible many times and had lived his life by the teachings of the Bible. Yet when we asked for his help for an event protesting the Chinese government's persecution of Falun Gong, he declined simply because it had something to do with Falun Gong. I was shocked and felt very sad. If someone who is drowning asks for help, would you ask which religion he believed in before extending your hand to help? If the Christian friend of mine suffered the same kind of persecution, I would have extended my hand without hesitation. Didn't Jesus Christ say, "Love your neighbour just like you do yourself"?

Then I said to the young woman, "It is Falun Dafa that taught me to treat people kindly, not only my relatives and friends, but all sentient beings. This kind of benevolence is pure and beautiful." As we talked, I noticed her eyes brimming with tears.
