An Elderly Woman's Story of Safeguarding Dafa Ten Times

(Clearwisdom.net) An elderly woman who lives somewhere in the central plains (comprising the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River) still has Teacher's poster, Falun posters, materials introducing Falun Dafa and various Dafa banners and Fa-promoting flags in her home. She still has a perfect collection of Dafa books and materials. Ten different times this woman's determination safeguarded Dafa. She courageously used her life to shake the evil and to further promote Dafa.

According to her own oral account:

The first time I safeguarded Dafa was on June 10, 1999 (Lunar Calendar). The television was playing programs that slandered Dafa. Six production brigade leaders came to my house to get the books. I told them, "There are no books here."

The second time, the production brigade and the police knocked at my door. I ignored them and they left. Two hours later they came back for the books, and I still refused them. One of them is a vice head of the township. He stayed at my house and read from the beginning until chapter 4 in Zhuan Falun. Before coming to my house, he was ill. After reading Zhuan Falun, his sickness was cured.

The third time, the production brigade and the police came again. They shouted, "Ren XX, you have committed a felony!" I replied, "I didn't commit any crime!" The evil couldn't do anything and left.

The fourth time, the evil came and said, "You have the books, give them to us." I responded, "I won't turn them over to you."

The fifth time, February 4, 2000 (Lunar Calendar), three people from the township government and the police station came to my house. I was listening to Teacher's lectures, so I said, "Why don't you come in, sit down and listen? You can learn why what CCTV said about Falun Gong is different from what our Teacher said?"

The sixth time, which was half a month later, the township police station sent three people again. They said, "You should come to the township office and talk with us." On the way, they asked me, "How come you don't turn in your books?" I replied, "I didn't do anything wrong. I will never give them up. If anyone dares to take my books and tapes I will resist with my life."

The seventh time, the township sent three people to my house. They asked me, "What do you know about Falun Gong?" I patiently explained to them that 11 different illnesses that I had developed during the last 20 to 30 years were all cured. Falun Gong is very good.

The eighth time, on the day of the national anniversary, the police station sent three people again. They were afraid that I would go to Beijing to ask the government to stop persecuting Falun Gong, so they wanted me to go to the police station. I told them, "I don't have the time, so I am not going."

The ninth time, around May 1, 2001, around 2 or 3 p.m., some townsfolk asked me, "Are you still practicing Falun Gong?" They started reading the newspaper to me. When they reached the point where it slandered Dafa, I said, "Stop! You can't read it! My Teacher tells us to be good people; you should remember that!"

The tenth time, May 10, 2001, the township police came to my house again and asked, "Are you going to Beijing anytime soon?" I responded, "Go away, I don't have time right now." After that, no one came to persecute me again.

Whenever the nearby villages have any gatherings or when there are a lot of people getting together, I go there and tell them about how Falun Gong teaches everyone to be a good person and how the practitioners have been tortured. I talk freely and openly wherever I happen to be at the moment.
