Dear Fellow Practitioners in Southeast Asia:

Congratulations on the opening of the 2001 Southeast Asia Fa Conference! We would also like to take this opportunity to express our highest regards to the Dafa disciple from Indonesia who participated in the recent Tiananmen Square Fa-rectification event.

Southeast Asia is a place where our Teacher once visited and spread the Fa. It is there that he took some practitioners in hand and taught them the exercise movements. He even suggested in person the location of the first outdoor practice site in Thailand. Southeast Asia is also one of the places with a large overseas Chinese population. Many of this area's historical factors, such as the progress of its geographical development and the progress of the development of its peoples, have been closely related to the corresponding factors in mainland China. Of course, Southeast Asia is also a place where the evil forces are rampant. Therefore, in the Fa-rectification period, it is especially important that Dafa disciples in Southeast Asia cultivate themselves well in the Fa-rectification.
