Russia: Journey of Falun Dafa Photo Exhibition Successfully Held in Labinsk

Labinsk is a mid-sized city with a population of 200,000. On December 1, 2001, practitioners held a 3-day photo exhibition entitled Journey of Fa Rectification in the Culture Center of the city. Several days before the event, the exhibition was announced through TV, radio and newspapers. Over 100 posters about the exhibition were placed at bus stations, stores, and on bulletin boards in residential areas.

More than 200 people attended the first day of the photo exhibition. Many people inquired about Dafa books and asked for other Dafa materials after they visited the exhibition. Many visitors signed their names to petitions supporting Falun Gong and calling for an end to the killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Some of them also watched Falun Gong instruction videos and learned the exercises. Practitioners shared the stories of the photos to visitors and answered their questions.

Clarifying the Truth to the Culture Center Director

The slandering lies of Jiang Zemin's regime have deceived some local residents. One anonymous resident called the Culture Center and asked why the center held the exhibition, so the Culture Center Director contacted practitioners and learned the truth. Practitioners showed her awards and proclamations to Falun Gong from around the world and explained to her the principle of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance. As a result, the director not only allowed the exhibition to continue but also decided to attend the press conference held on the third day.

The Visitors with Predestined Relationships

Many people who came to the exhibition seemed to have predestined relationships. One couple was reluctant to leave after visiting the exhibition. They chatted with practitioners until they had to bid farewell because the exhibition was about to close for the day. They said they were going to come the next day again, and expressed their regrets at having discovered Dafa so late.

There was one staff member of the Culture Center on duty in the exhibition hall. She carefully looked through all the displayed photos and took Dafa information. When she saw other visitors signing their names on the appeal letter, she also quietly signed her name on the letter. When the exhibition was closed in the evening and we needed to rearrange the photos, she stayed and accompanied us all the time. When we apologized to her, she said, "Tomorrow I am off work and I will bring my whole family to the exhibition."

There are still so many good Russian people who do not know Dafa. Practitioners are determined to catch up with the Fa Rectification process and let more kindhearted Russian people know the truth and obtain Dafa.
