Political and Law Committee of the Qiqihaer Railway Control Sub-Division Illegally Detain Falun Gong Practitioners

[Clearwisdom.net] The city of Jagedaqi is located in the remote and frozen area of Heilongjiang province. There lies a dormitory for visitors to the Jagedaqi Communist Party School belonging to the Qiqihaer Railroad Control Sub-division. This dormitory also acts as a prison to illegally detain many Falun Dafa practitioners. Beginning in the spring of last year, more than 20 Dafa practitioners working for the sub-division have been sent to the dormitory where they were forced to take special classes. On December 28, 2000, Xia Yunji, Zhao Xuchen, Wu Hongjun, Chen YanBuo and Wang Pingfa, whom are all Falun Dafa practitioners, were sent there from Daqing City. They remain illegally detained to this day, and their friends and families had not known their whereabouts until very recently. While in this 'prison', communication with the outside world is strictly prohibited. Security is very tight -- doors are double locked and the windows have iron bars across them. With two police officers on site all the times, each practitioner is also accompanied by two other employees, selected by the management, from the practitioner's own office. All the Dafa practitioners there were watched very closely. Simply speaking of the outside world was prohibited, and family visits were denied. Practitioners were denied the right to speak or write anything. They were treated no different than criminals, and have been deprived of all of their constitutional rights. Similar to Jagedaqi Party School, many Chinese government agencies have built their own illegal jails. It is considered to be an effective way to "educate" Dafa practitioners, and is encouraged by the upper level management of many agencies. At the time this article was sent out, the practitioners mentioned above were on a hunger strike. We ask all kind-hearted people to raise their concerns for these are all innocent people.
