Photo Report: Hongfa Activity on Australia Day in Wollongong, Australia

Wollongong, a coastal city not far from Sydney, held a grand celebration of Australia Day on January 26, 2001. Approximately 30 practitioners from Sydney and the local area participated in the celebration and used this opportunity to introduce Dafa and expose the crackdown in China.

Although many people in Wollongong have known about Falun Gong through the media, they were still very interested in the photo reports. After reading the material, many people signed the petition to show their support. That day, the temperature was as high as 420C (1080F). Despite the high temperature, practitioners handed out introductory material to and collected signatures from the passersby and people resting on the beach. The entire hongfa activity lasted for more than 6 hours
