For a long time, I refused to believe that the persecution of Falun Gong was actually happening.

Like many other people, I was born under the red flag, grew up listening the songs of praise for the Communist Party, and quite a few times had felt lucky to be able to live in a country like ours. I did not experience the Great Cultural Revolution. Things of that time were like stories of the remote past to me. Only recently did I learn about the 6.4 Incident through edited movies. As for all the talk about corruption, I heard some of them, but these rumors still could not change the beautiful image of the Communist Party in my mind. Later, I was fortunate to read on Minghui Net news about Falun Gong and reports on the mistreatment of Falun Gong practitioners. I did not want to believe that the Communist Party that I had always believed in could have committed such bloody deeds.

However, just a few days ago and near me, a Falun Gong practitioner whom I know, a kind, ordinary citizen, was brutally tortured to death, simply because she practiced a form of Qigong that requires people to follow "Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance"!

After seeing that, I don't have any reason not to believe every bloody story about the persecution. Conscience forces me to pick up the pen to jot down my experience, which hopefully can awaken other kind-hearted people like me. If I don't do this, how am I different from those who are insane and ruthless? Kind-hearted people, let us calm down and reflect on what is going on. Although you and I don't quite understand Falun Gong, just seeing the activities of the Communist Party is sufficient for us to distinguish who is right and who is wrong.

Wake up, kind-hearted people!
