[Southern China] At Chinese New Year's Eve, Dafa Posters could be Seen on the Streets and in the Lanes
Practitioners from a city in southern China posted Dafa banners on all the streets and in all the lanes of every district. They read: "Falun Dafa is Good!" "Dafa is Rectifying the Human World!" This would awake more and more people to find the truth of Dafa.
[Southwest of China] Practitioners do Their Best to Print Dafa Truth Materials
More than ten practitioners from an area of the southwest of China use everything in their means to expose the evil and tell the truth about Falun Dafa to people. Practitioners exhausted all their money to print material and make banners and posters. In order to conserve money, which they spent on promoting the truth about Falun Dafa, practitioners often ate only one meal a day. They spread the good news about Dafa wherever they went. In one county alone, practitioners hung several dozen banners and distributed 20,000 copies of Dafa material. The police searched through the whole city but found nothing. During the time of the Spring Festival, the practitioners even managed to send the Dafa material to the countryside. The evil force was quite frustrated in this very awkward situation.
Since the police could not find any clues, they started to suspect their own people, because frequently, Falun Dafa material appeared in the police head's office.
[Mianyang City, Sichuan Province] TV Station Deceives A Large Segment of the Population
On January 21, 2001, Sichuan TV broadcasted a video tape stating that four Falun Dafa practitioners attended the so-called "exposure meeting" in Xinhua Detention Center, Mianyang City.
It has now been verified that among these four practitioners were Liu Yingxu and Li Fafu, who, last October, had already made a statement to the detention center officials and local police, stating that:
"The so-called 'transformation' we made after being deceived by the people from Masanjia Re-education Labor Camp was wrong. Falun Dafa is an orthodox Fa and Master is innocent. We will continue the cultivation practice." They also advised every policeman not to be fooled by lies. They also encouraged them to distinguish the righteous from the evil, truth from false, and value Dafa and their lives.
It is regrettable that the authorities had to use the falsified information to attempt to deceive TV audiences, when the authorities, in their impotence against Falun Dafa, seem to be coming to a dead end.
We know that two practitioners who are recognized as the key persons are being closely watched. More than 50 practitioners are being persecuted in Xinhua Detention Center in Mianyang City. Practitioners who were released earlier from this detention center returned to the cultivation in the Fa rectification after they resumed studying the Fa. They state solemnly that all letters of any kind they previously wrote which violated Dafa are invalid!
[Inner Mongolia] The Situation of Some Practitioners in Inner Mongolia
Dafa Practitioner Li Xudong, a 21-year old male senior student from Forestry University was expelled from school. Because of his insistence to continue with the practice of Falun Dafa, the officials at the university refused to assign him a job. [Translator: in China, the graduate students normally will be assigned a job by the university]
Fan Lei, female, 32 years old, an official of the Security Department of Inner Mongolia, was expelled from her job for persisting in practicing Dafa.
Hu Yujun, female, 56 years old, an assistant professor of the Agricultural University, has been sentenced to a labor camp and her home was illegally searched because she distributed Dafa materials.
Liu Zhiguo, male, is a 40 year- old worker from Edible Oil Processing Factory in Hohhot City. His home was unlawfully searched. Now he is being detained at a detention center for distributing Dafa materials.
Li Jun, female, is a 30 year-old employee of Nailun Estate Development Company. Police illegally searched her home and she was subsequently sentenced to 3 years of labor camp for distributing Dafa materials.
Xiao Hong, female, a 30 year-old, a doctor of the Inner Mongolia Hospital, has been sentenced to 3 years in a labor camp because she went to appeal for Falun Dafa in Beijing.
[Anqiu City, Shandong Province] The Police Become Thieves and Robbers
At midnight on January 23, 2001, a group of evil, lawless policemen climbed over the wall and intruded into a practitioner's home by breaking in the door. They forcibly abducted the practitioner and then robbed him of his private possessions, including his computer, printer, motorcycle, recorder, cell phone and pager. The police removed all these valuable, private passions from his home. The city's TV station was present and even recorded the scene live and broadcasted the arrest consecutively for the next 5 days. In conspiracy with the evil, the local TV station fabricated rumors against the practitioners and framed him. The next day, another practitioner, who came to visit the slandered and robbed and abducted practitioner, was also taken away. They looted the visiting practitioner's motorcycle, cell phone and pager. Now both practitioners are detained illegally.
[Hebei Province] A County Government Issues a Notice to Ask People to Watch the CCTV News of Lies
Today, a county government publicized a notice issued by the County Committee. It requests the committees of every town and village to organize citizens and force them to collectively watch a special report (propaganda) on the CCTV news tonight about the self-immolation incident. This is Jiang Zemin's attempt to defame Falun Gong through inhuman, ever more repressive and controlling measures. We hope fellow practitioners will take action to tell the truth and expose the dastardly deeds by Jiang Zemin and followers.

My mother is a Dafa practitioner. A few days ago, during a phone conversation, she told me something about the sun she saw in Beijing. In the dark sky, the sun was so dazzling at her first sight; a few seconds later, the sun became colorful. The beauty was beyond words. However, there was a round of very dark matter near the sun. This dark matter had been trying to cover the sun. When the matter covered this side, the sun jumped to another side; the matter turned to cover another side and the sun jumped to opposite side. Anyway, this dark matter could not cover the sun. My father is not a practitioner, but he also saw this scene and said: "How could that matter be so dark, it is too dark."
