In order to prevent materials that clarify the truth of Dafa from being distributed, officials in Shijiazhuang City intended to employ a group of 14 to 15-year-old high school students to patrol the residence districts between 7:30 to 9:00 in the evening. Their duty is to dial 110 (Translator's note: 110 is the emergency phone number of police station in China) as soon as they find Dafa practitioners distributing materials, and each of them would be paid 200 Yuan RMB monthly. (Translator's note: The monthly salary of an averaged worker in cities of China is about 500 Yuan RMB). However, their plan was thwarted before it was carried out because of parents' strong resistance. Some said, "Doesn't this teach children to be a bad person and commit wrongdoing? I won't allow them to do it even if 10,000 Yuan RMB is paid!" More parents were afraid their children's study would be affected, so they did not want their children to attend. We cannot rule out the possibility that some parents who forget all moral principles at the first sign of money will ask their children to do this, so practitioners should pay attention to this matter.

Evil forces from Huanan forestry bureau of Heilongjiang Province and Hunan County tried to arrest local Dafa practitioners who went to Beijing to clarify the truth about Falun Gong. Since January 2001, faced with increasing numbers of local practitioners going to Beijing like waves following each other in the ocean, the local evil forces ganged up with policemen in Beijing during January and February, twice trying in vain to arrest practitioners who went to Beijing.
Since the end of February, Minghui Net made public the persecution of Dafa practitioners in this area and practitioners' deeds that clarified the truth in Beijing. Soon after, Huanan practitioners in Beijing and some local practitioners who were detained issued "Solemn Statements" one after another. Meanwhile, practitioners mailed a large number of Dafa materials including "The Truth of Self-Immolation," "Solemn Statements," etc., to local party and government offices, schools, friends, and colleagues. Faced with the fact that the people's consciences are being awakened and Dafa practitioners' rock-solid virtue, the evil forces have been beset with difficulties from both inside and out. Under intense pressure from higher authorities, they made a reckless move to arrest almost all the local practitioners they knew, and they also monitored the telephones of practitioners' families. Then, they forced the workplaces of practitioners who went to Beijing to form a large-scale "Arrest Team." On March 6, with the police, they went to Beijing to arrest Dafa practitioners. We hope that Dafa practitioners will be more cautious and be aware of their own security.

Just before the Chinese New Year, the North Shengli Street Police Substation of Qiaodong District in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province, and Zhengda agency forced all the people who have ever practiced Falun Gong to sign repentance statements. Whoever refused to sign would be immediately arrested. In defiance, many Dafa practitioners left their homes. More than ten Dafa practitioners firmly refused to sign their names, and they were detained in the name of an "education class" and forced to pay 300 to 400 Yuan RMB each day. Dafa practitioners who were illegally detained strongly protested many times. After being ignored repeatedly, the practitioners began a hunger strike. Three days after the hunger strike began, the guards grew panicked, and they moved the Dafa practitioners to the fourth kindergarten in Qiaodong District, turning the kindergarten into a prison. Dafa practitioners resumed the hunger strike after a one-day break. Five days after the hunger strike, the guards informed the families of practitioners to visit, and asked the family members to pay 2,000 Yuan RMB deposit before they could release practitioners, otherwise, they would not take responsibility for the deaths of any practitioners. Family members angrily questioned them: "What is the difference between what you have done and kidnapping? What kind of local government is this? What kind of police station is this? It is actually an underworld society! Even underworld societies dare not conduct evil activities in such a manner!" However, for the sake of the security of practitioners, most family members paid the money. Two 20-year-old female Dafa practitioners resolutely refused to have their families pay the money, and they are still being detained.

1. In the evening of March 1, 2001, Dafa practitioners Guan Lirong, Gong Suzhen, Gao Jinheng, Wen Liying, and Liu Zhenfen from Yinlong residence district of Shijiazhuang City visited fellow practitioner Zhao Yuxi's home. Policemen, without any reason, arrested all six practitioners and then ransacked their homes. Their present whereabouts are unknown.
2. Dafa practitioner Liu Shuqin (alias name: Liu Ye) lives in Tangu residence district (52-2-403) of Changan District in Shijiazhuang City. Around 10 o'clock in the morning of March 4, 2000, she was kidnapped on her way home from shopping by 4 or 5 people, including policeman Sun in plain clothes. Liu's present whereabouts are unknown.
Recently, many disturbing incidents involving illegal ransacking of Dafa practitioners' homes and arrests of the practitioners occurred in Shijiazhuang City. The policemen extracted confessions by torture, illegally detained Dafa practitioners, and sent them to labor camps. We hope that for our homeland, all the kind-hearted people can uphold justice, suppress the evil persecution, and enable our family members to return home soon!

Reveal the Evil's Hypocritical Face
Recently, many organizations held so-called "Falun Dafa seminars" in order to transform those practitioners whom they considered important. They collected "experts" from different areas to give lectures to slander and persecute Dafa.
The people that they found often took on a note of sympathy and attitudes of seeming support, and they used the trick of giving you an opportunity to talk as bait to hide their motives. Their real purpose is to shake practitioners' righteous thoughts and faith toward Dafa.
We will by no means give them this forum, because "If you listen to them, bad things will enter your ears" (Your Mind Must Be Right, Zhuan Falun, English Version). Meanwhile, we should give them less opportunity to accumulate karma and safeguard Dafa. Furthermore, we can also clarify the truth to them and persuade them from holding their "seminars."
After their hypocritical faces were revealed, they angrily turned to the tactic of intimidating and pressuring the families of practitioners. As a result, their facade of "Families agree, people themselves agree" was exposed as a blatantly empty slogan.
I intended to talk with them to see whether they could change their attitudes and help save them. However, I found that they did not have any righteous thoughts.
