A Mother's Day Tribute

World Falun Dafa Day this year was on May 13^th, a day that was also celebrated all over the world as Mother's Day. That is a day on which we thank our mothers for their caring, their kindness, and their patience, so it is fitting that we as practitioners also celebrated the universal virtues of Zhen-Shan-Ren -- Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance.

We, the practitioners overseas, would like to send out a special tribute to all the courageous mothers and grandmothers in China - Falun Dafa practitioners - who are defending the Fa and their fundamental freedoms with their lives.

Throughout the vicious crackdown and the reign of terror that Jiang Zemin has unleashed upon the Chinese people, these brave mothers have stood up for their right to freedom of belief so that their families and children may live in a pure land, free from fear and darkness.

For their faith, many of these women have lost their homes, their livelihoods, their families, and even their lives. They have been imprisoned, shackled, tortured, raped, divorced, beaten, abused, force-fed, threatened, committed to mental hospitals, and sentenced to labor camps without trial. But they have not lost their spirit.

We would like all the practitioner mothers and grandmothers in China to know that we will never let the stories of your brave actions be forgotten.
