[Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Another Tragedy Caused by Jiang Zemin's Tyranny: Dafa Practitioner Song Xu Suffered Kidney Necrosis Due to Long Hunger Strike
On February 3, Dafa [great law and universal principle] practitioner Song Xu was arrested near Zhengzhou Railway Station together with another practitioner named Feng as they were doing some Dafa work. (This is the fourth time that Mr. Song was arrested.) Police regarded Mr. Song as a leader; therefore they threw him into a labor camp on the same day. Until now, Mr. Song has been on a hunger strike for 47 days and his whole body is swelling. His kidneys are suffering necrosis. The labor camp informed his relatives to collect some money so they could send him to Zhengzhou City No. 5 Hospital for kidney replacement.
In addition, the nursing fee would be 500 Yuan [$60] per day. If this is not paid, no one will take care of him. Now Song Xu cannot move nor can he speak. In the labor camp, no one looks after him. Now we are trying to contact Song Xu's family and friends.
According to international convention, seven days is the limit for a hunger strike. The government must reply to the person on a hunger strike within this time frame. However, Jiang Zemin's regime did not care about the lives of people on hunger strikes, which has led to this extreme tragedy.

An employee in a bank in Suihua City revealed that officials in upper government asked the employees to sign a statement "Fight Against Falun Gong." Those who would not sign their names would have their salaries suspended. From this we know that the "Million Signatures" document is more evidence of the infringement of human rights by Jiang Zemin's regime.

A photograph of the Falun Dafa founder was placed on the ground at the ship boarding entrance in Dalian Seaport. Every passenger boarding the ship was asked to step on it. A passenger said, "Why are you doing this? This is extremely immoral." Another passenger continued, "This is the 'best period of human rights in China?'" Passengers were angry at the vicious action of Jiang Zemin's group and walked around the photograph. Jiang Zemin is gasping his last breath, and wants to drag innocent people to be buried with him. More and more, people of good conscience have awakened. He cannot deceive them any more.

On January 15, in a city of Shandong Province, police went to arrest all practitioners at their homes. Seven or eight policemen formed a group. Sometimes they broke into a practitioner's home. Four or five police would forcibly drag a practitioner away. Sometimes, they would knock on the door and deceive practitioners, using some excuse to take them to the police station. If the practitioner did not go with them, they would abduct the practitioner. All the arrests were without any legal procedures.
A female practitioner was cooking at home when the police tried to take her away. Her husband and father-in-law reasoned with them. The policemen could not respond. Her husband knew the police's vicious hearts. The police wanted to drag her away. Her husband said angrily, "If you want to take her, I will fight with you." The police were afraid. No one dared to abduct her. Then they left. A few days later, police wanted to take her to a "transformation" class. Her husband still did not let her go and reasoned with the police. Finally, he said to them, "You just fear that she will go to Beijing. If you keep harassing us, our entire family will go to Beijing together." The police had no alternative but to leave.

Recently, we discovered that five so-called "transformed people," who are being manipulated by spies, betrayed Dafa practitioners. They are usually active in Wuchang District. Practitioners in this area, please pay close attention to this issue.
Additionally, it unfortunately has been learned that Dafa practitioner Wang Sheng was arrested illegally; but there are no details about his whereabouts. Practitioners must fully use the reason, wisdom and compassion that Dafa entrusts to us, and be responsible to both Dafa and ourselves during this challenging period in which Dafa particles play a positive role.
[Hulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Dafa Practitioners have been Illegally Detained for Months
About 40 practitioners in the county have been held successively on the excuse of detention and criminal detention for as long as three months, the shortest term being two months. These 40 practitioners spent the New Year in the detention center. They still have not been released. We don't know when they will have their freedom back.
[Henan Province] Dafa Practitioners Stopped the Illegal Action of a "Transformation Group"
Not long ago, a "transformation group" spread slander everywhere in a city in Henan Province. Recently, fellow practitioners had several experience sharing meetings. Through the ability of such an environment to unify, all practitioners understood from their hearts the importance of a Dafa particle in rectifying the Fa [law and principle]. They should make full use of every advantage, take different approaches and use practical actions to suffocate the evil and assist our Teacher in rectifying the Fa. They collected phone numbers, police numbers and addresses of these rogue persons (including vicious policemen, corrupt government officials and the so-called "transformed persons"). Practitioners took action together to call people's homes, offices, or cell phones, and posted the stickers "Heaven Will Not Forgive Those Who Persecute Falun Gong" "Bad Will Be Punished With Bad" "XXX, close your mouth that is controlled by the devil" They also distributed fliers to disclose these illegal actions to the public. The righteous thoughts of all Dafa practitioners caused the so-called "transformed people," who used to be impudent, to stay at home and not show their faces again.
[Hebei Province] Dafa Practitioner in Huabei Oil Field was Illegally Arrested in A Public Internet Bar
Dafa practitioner Wu Yujin was illegally arrested when she was in an Internet Bar. It is said that this was related to sending emails. It is not known if it is related to "Internet 110" [i.e. Internet police setup by Jiang Zemin's group-- translator].
Can some fellow practitioners provide further information so we can reduce our losses? From this I realize that we should study the Fa more.
