An Appeal From a Prisoner Who Attained Dafa in Prison: "Please Stop Persecuting Falun Gong Practitioners"

I am a female prisoner who committed robbery. This deed shows what kind of person I used to be. I wanted to take revenge and wanted to have it all. Who could ever make a person like me change, especially in the prison environment? But I was wrong. The principles of Falun Dafa and the Falun Dafa practitioners have changed me. Even the way I talk and behave is not the same as before. I have taken those practitioners as role models.

Falun Dafa practitioners present themselves well in all respects. They have high moral standards. They care for every person's life unselfishly. Nowadays, who can compare with them and who can behave like them with such justice and kindness? They have no intention of fighting and contending; they don't seek personal fame and interest; they are not corrupted. If every person, including government clerks and senior officials, can behave at only half of what those practitioners do, the country will be secure and the people will have peace. However, why arrest those people who are so good and detain them in prison? Where is the Principle of Heaven?

I have seen that the local government illegally imposed fines (varying from 10,000 Yuan [about US$1220], 7000 Yuan to 3000 Yuan) on many practitioners. They would not release the practitioners until the money is paid. I have also seen that some policemen inhumanly tortured those female practitioners and many practitioners had injuries when they were sent into prison. An over 50-year-old lady had black bruises all over her face, neck and body when she was put into prison. I cannot imagine that any human being can do such a thing! She reminds me of those heroines during wartime who were faithful and unyielding. I see a modern heroine in her. These practitioners are all good people. Although they are women, they uphold the truth and their beliefs. Because they have the sense of justice, they can bravely face the evils, step forward and speak out about the truth. In the current society, there are very few good people like them. So, why are those good people treated in such a way?

In the current society, corruptions are everywhere; the law is replaced by power; people are submissive to money. Who are to take on these problems? If no one even wants to question these issues, how will our country become rich and our nation become strong? How can people be genuinely convinced? Only Falun Dafa can convince people. Human beings should pay attention to De (virtue). How can people be convinced if government officials have no virtue? Falun Dafa practitioners with such mighty kindness and mighty forbearance have been brutally persecuted. The Law of Heaven cannot tolerate it! Here, I appeal to the government and officials: please stop persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and release all the detained Falun Gong practitioners.

These are the heartfelt wishes from a female prisoner in a detention center.

I did not have any school education. I have a lot of things which I'd like to say but don't know how to express myself. I hope each official will prudently think about what I have said.
