First, let us express our gratitude to the Swedish Government for their support of Falun Gong. When we applied for a permit for the parade that was going to take place in March 23^rd during the European Union Meeting, the police said: "Oh, Falun Gong is fine, because you are so peaceful and harmonious." Later we learned that Falun Gong received the only parade permit from among numerous applicants.

On March 23^rd, 9:30 AM, practitioners gathered on the meadow in front of the Chinese embassy in Stockholm, Sweden. Practitioners from the United States, England, Germany, Australia, Denmark, Norway and other countries overcame hardships and continued their trip from Geneva. Together with the Swedish practitioners, they set up the banners, and thus began a whole day's activities of clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa. After one hour of performing the first four sets of exercises, we started to parade peacefully. To the accompaniment of Dafa music, our group of over a hundred people walked with a solemn and steady pace toward the downtown area. Since the weather was exceptionally good, a great number of Stockholm residents came out. This kept the practitioners who were in charge of distributing Falun Dafa flyers very busy. They ran back and forth and bustled about, handing out a lot of flyers to the people. Also, the people who obtained the flyers were reading them carefully. They were inquiring, discussing, and expressing their own opinions. A group of elementary school students took the Falun Dafa balloons and flyers and introductory materials with great delight.

A little before noon, our group arrived at the Royal Flower Garden Square. We remained there for an hour and a half, demonstrating the exercises. Practitioners used the previously set up loudspeakers to tell the surrounding people about Falun Gong and also about Jiang Zemin's persecution of Falun Gong since April 25^th, 1999. Professor Zhang Kunlun and his wife, along with Australian practitioner Zhang Cuiying, talked about their own experiences and clearly described the evil nature of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. At about 2:00 p.m., the parade continued to march forward until it arrived at the largest square in the downtown area -- Merry Night Square. Here, in front of an audience of thousands, our "truth-telling loudspeakers" came to life again. At the same time, practitioners began doing the fifth set of the exercises. Over a hundred golden jackets reflected the sunlight and converged into a golden river, placid and magnificent, just like the radiance emitted by the Dafa particles that shine as they save people. In the evening, all of the practitioners sat together and shared their experiences, not feeling the least bit tired.

On March 24^th, outside the European Union Conference Hall (the European Union was holding their annual meeting then), protesters came from everywhere. Our Falun Gong practitioners again obtained the nearest and best location to the hall. From 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM, practitioners told the truth about Falun Dafa to the EU officials and all other participants. Practitioners were divided into three sections: the ones who held the flower rings sat in the front rows, the ones doing exercises were in the middle, and the ones in the back held up the Falun Dafa banners. The practitioners switched positions spontaneously. It lasted for six hours, continuously without a break, under vigorous sunlight. Practitioners from England sighed, "What a precious sunny day!" (Indeed, for the past several weeks, the weather had always been gloomy). After the activity was over, practitioners looked at each other's tanned faces and smiled pleasantly.

During the whole activity, we met with numerous news reporters. They represented BBC, CNN, TV4 and SVI. Those people wrote about Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance as revealed to them by the practitioners, and submitted their news reports about Falun Dafa from various points of view.
