On April 7, 2001, on route from Seattle to Geneva, twelve of us stopped off at the Zurich Airport for a connecting flight. We had a five-hour layover. While waiting, practitioners decided to do the exercises and meditation. As the Dafa music played, passengers also waiting, and others passing by were attracted to the sight and sound of the practice. Many people stood watching for more than an hour marveling at the scene and others seemingly not wishing to let the sight escape their minds, took many photographs, and still others, quietly took the flyers we had laid on the floor.

After speaking with many of the people we discovered that the majority of them had never heard of Falun Gong, so we naturally gave them an introduction.

We were also given the opportunity to explain the reason we were going to Geneva. We clarified that our purpose was to peacefully express our concern to the International Human Rights Organizations, regarding China's violations of the Human Rights Charter and of its brutal persecution towards Falun Gong practitioners, and by doing so, also clarify the truth about Falun Dafa to people all over the world. Upon hearing this explanation the travelers all expressed their understanding, sympathy and support to us.

We were glad to have so many people experience Falun Dafa and for them to be an eyewitness to its peacefulness and elegance. We were happy for them, because it was a golden opportunity that is difficult to obtain.
