Since December 2000, many Falun Gong practitioners have been arrested in Laishui County. Some were arrested while visiting relatives or friends; some were arrested on their way to Beijing; still others were arrested in their homes. Afterwards, they were either sent to the security office or detention center. Among the arrested practitioners, two were sent to the Sunzhuang Police Station where more than ten people beat them with electric batons and iron shovels. In addition, their pants were stripped and they were beaten handcuffed to an iron pipe. The practitioners were then sent to the Tun County Detention Center. They were sent to the Laishui County Detention Center five days after that. On Apr 4, 2001, two secretaries from the Laishui Legislation Office and County's Committee (Liu Yaohua and Sun Guijie) brought them to the communist party school.
Another three practitioners from Laishui were arrested and sent to the Wangcun police station where they were brutally beaten with iron rods. Their bodies turned black and blue and they were unable to walk or lie down. They were eventually sent to the Laishui Detention Center.
On Apr 4, 19 practitioners from the detention center and 12 practitioners from the security office were sent to the Laishui communist party school where they staged a hunger strike. The next day, Sun Guijie gave orders to buy salt and powdered milk to force-feed the practitioners.
During the force-feeding, two officials from the same town as two of the practitioners who staged hunger strike were also present and they are Luo Zhenlun(the town head) and Xia Xiaosong (the political and legislative secretary.) Luo Zhenlun and Xia Xiaosong beat the two practitioners until their wood sticks broke and until a practitioner's front tooth fell out. Another practitioner also received the same treatment. Xia Xiaosong kicked this practitioner to the ground, forced concrete chunks into his mouth, and violently slapped his face three times. Xia later grabbed the practitioner's hair and slapped him more than ten times, until the practitioner became dizzy and disorientated. The practitioner was force-fed in the end.
There were five practitioners from Shiting town, including one female practitioner who was over 60 years old. Because she studied the Falun Dafa books, Xia Xiaosong slapped her face twice.
The homes of four Shiting practitioners were ransacked and TV sets and VCRs were taken. Several people, including Liu Ying and the secretary from Gaocun, took away tricycles and broke the doors and windows.
All the good and bad deeds will receive their rightful retribution. We hope that all kind-hearted people in the world know the true face of Jiang Zemin. Let Falun Dafa be treated fairly!
