The Truth behind One of the So-Called 1,400 Death Cases: The Story of Chen Yuping

The regime of Jiang Zemin has spread propaganda that Falun Gong has caused over 1,400 Chinese nationals to die or have disabilities. This is a complete lie. Below is the truth about the death of my husband, whose case was included in the so-called 1400 death incidents.

My husband, Chen Yuping, was a thirty-four year old teacher from the Huangzhou District Dongmen School, Huanggang City, Hubei Province. In March 1998, doctors diagnosed him with liver cancer three times, and told us he didn't have much time left. My husband never practiced Falun Gong before his illness. Due to my poor understanding of Dafa and my sentimentality for my husband, I urged him to practice Falun Gong. However, I didn't consider Teacher's admonition that seriously ill people should not attend Falun Gong lectures. My husband joined a practice group entirely to have his illness healed. After he had practiced the exercises for some time, he still could not let go of his mentality for getting rid of his illness. He died three months later, as the doctors had expected.

In 1999, Jiang Zemin outlawed Falun Gong. The local 610 office (a government office created to suppress Falun Gong) submitted information for a book that contained statistics for the number of people in Huanggang City who had supposedly died from practicing Falun Gong. My husband was one of those cases. They distorted the facts, saying he had cirrhosis of the liver and that he died from practicing Falun Gong. They also used this information to slander Falun Dafa and Teacher Li.

I am only trying to clarity the truth of my husband's death!
