People from the city of Chi Feng in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region all knew Deputy Mayor Wang Yaxuan. Ms. Wang was over 50, and a practitioner of Falun Dafa. When the lawless followers of Jiang Zemin tried to persecute Dafa practitioners, Ms. Wang always resisted their malevolent intent and protected the practitioners from being detained or sentenced to jail. During a public holiday between August and September 1999, the Deputy Mayor was murdered while visiting the Red Mountain Park. Local people mourn the loss of this excellent Deputy Mayor who served her people well. We ask local people who may have any leads to cooperate with the investigation.
