The week of May 13-21 is Canada's first "Falun Dafa Festival". Falun Dafa practitioners across the country will hold many public activities during the week.

The Festival will express and share the joy and peace of Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, the principles that embody Falun Dafa, with Canadians who cherish these qualities in life. We will also celebrate our freedom of belief here in Canada to pay respect to Falun Dafa practitioners in China who face persecution and have no freedom to believe as they choose.

May 13^th is "World Falun Dafa Day". Kind-hearted people around the world will celebrate Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance in events together with Falun Dafa practitioners in the more than 40 countries.

Public activities in Canada include:

Toronto

• Truth-Compassion-Tolerance Day celebration, May 13 in Nathan Phillips Square
• Join many multicultural groups to celebrate their heritage of virtue and goodness through dance, song and display

Ottawa

• Art Exhibit from Falun Dafa practitioner and renowned art Professor, Kunlun Zhang and other artists from Montreal and Australia, May 17 and May 19
• Celebration ceremonies in front of the Parliament Buildings, May 18
• Exercise demonstration in front of Parliament Buildings, May 18 and 19
• Canada Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference, Ottawa Congress Centre, May 19

Quebec City

• Celebration in front of provincial parliament on May 21.

Invited speeches, exercise demonstration, pictorial display, news conference and parade.

Vancouver

• News conference and pictorial display, May 12
