On the morning of May 15, practitioners from Los Angeles were invited to the University of California, Irvine to talk about Falun Gong and human rights. First, a practitioner from academia made an impromptu speech for about 1 hour. Then we watched the video, "Falun Gong and Human Rights," with over 60 students. The students were shocked at how severely the practitioners in Mainland China are being tortured. When it came to the song "Freedom" at the end of the video, some students couldn't help sobbing. After the video, a practitioner answered questions from the students and professors.
