I am a practitioner from Chongqing City. On February 14, 2001, I was detained in Chongqing City, Yuzhong District Detention Center. On March 26, they announced the formal arrests of the group I was with. We did not accept it passively nor did we cooperate with the vicious forces; we refused to sign on the arrest warrant and refused to answer the questions asked during interrogation. The vicious officials attempted to force us to stop cultivation and break away from Dafa. However, this was only their wishful thinking. They became exasperated, because we were so determined and are cultivating the most righteous Fa (Law or Great principles) in the cosmos. The vicious forces will never be able to deceive or change us.

At about 4am to 5am, a tape recording of the Falun Dafa radio program, "Sounds of Cosmos" resounded above the detention center. At 4:45am when the guards took away the speaker, we could still hear the sound from a distance. During the 45 minutes of broadcasting, we all clearly heard 6 or 7 new articles from Teacher, "Dafa Disciple's Righteous Thoughts are Powerful," "Suggestion," "Coercion Cannot Change People's Hearts," and others. It was the most exciting moment for us. Practitioners in the jail really appreciated the courage of fellow practitioners who positioned the speaker and thereby helped us to hear the benevolent voice of our Teacher. We will not fail to live up to our Teacher's compassion. What our fellow practitioners had done greatly encouraged us. It helped us to uphold our righteous thoughts. We enlightened that we still had to get rid of the attachment of fear. We believe we can do better in the last steps toward consummation. On the way toward consummation, we will suffocate the evil and establish our mighty virtue in the Fa-rectification current. Teacher, your disciples are all qualified.

[Helongjiang Province] Nearly One- Hundred Speakers Simultaneously Broadcast the Sound of Justice

From April 29 to April 30, 2001, practitioners from a city in Heilongjiang Province placed nearly a hundred Fa-promoting speakers at detention centers, labor camps and on the streets all over the city. At the same time, large and small banners hung everywhere in the main streets of the city. The banners were in red, yellow and white colors, and they looked very bright and eye-catching hanging from the green trees. The voice of Fa-rectification resounded in all directions.

On April 21, 2001, practitioners from different places went to the Kite Flying Field of Fuyan Mountain to distribute Dafa truth materials to people participating in the International Kite Conference. Being well prepared, a lot of policemen and plainclothes police were hanging around and watching people. Dafa practitioners did not take any action at first. After a while, one practitioner raised his head and suddenly saw a big circle of light surrounding the sun in the cloudy sky. All practitioners were excited upon seeing the scene. They all enlightened that Master was encouraging everyone. They were determined to do better so that they would live up to the expectations of Master. They braced down and got rid of their fear. Soon, they started to distribute the literature to people. They pointed to the sky to those who accepted the fliers, and many people saw the amazing scene. Some were astonished, and some had absent-minded looks on their faces. Some practitioners hung posters nearby. One female practitioner distributed the materials very fast; she distributed several hundred copies in a short time. She took the bus back home and brought more materials back to distribute. All practitioners returned home safely.

Before the May 1^st holiday, a practitioner saw a factory propaganda blackboard along the roadside posted with words that slandered Dafa. She felt so sad. On a rainy day, she put on her rain-coat and went to this factory with a rag and some chalk. Although there was a receptionist reading a newspaper in the lobby by the entrance, she directly went towards the propaganda blackboard. She wiped out all the bad words and wrote down, "Suffocate the Evil, Offer Salvation to Human Beings," "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," "Falun Dafa Is Good," " Falun Dafa Is a Righteous Fa," "Restore the Reputation of Dafa," "Restore the Reputation of Master." Afterwards, she got on her bicycle and rode back home.

[Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioners Faced the Evil with Righteous Thoughts

When the 9th anniversary of Falun Dafa was near, practitioners from Jixi City held an experience sharing conference on top of a mountain.

All practitioners shared their experiences in safeguarding and promoting Dafa. They were rounded up by the policemen when they went down the mountain after the meeting.

While running away from the police, some practitioners sent out the righteous thought: "Suffocate the evil. " A female practitioner was being chased by 2 policemen who were riding motorcycles. She had the righteous thought: "Please give me strength, Master, so the evil can not catch me." As a result, the policemen could not catch her.

However some practitioners were still caught by the police. The police tortured them during the interrogation. Many practitioners were beaten and had bruises and wounds all over their bodies. These vicious policemen were even fighting among themselves for the money, cell phones and pagers they confiscated from the practitioners.

One practitioner was tortured and interrogated for 24 hours. He kept a righteous mind to face the torturer all the time. When these gangsters were celebrating, the righteous thought of the Dafa practitioner showed its miracle: as the police were sleeping, the practitioner took off his handcuffs and walked out to start his new journey of safeguarding and promoting Dafa.

These lawless policemen started a large scale search for this practitioner. They sent out several dozen police cars and armed policemen, and set up roadblocks on the main road of the city. They became very irritated because they could not find any clues.

[Chongqing City, Sichuan Province] Over 30 Dafa Practitioners Were Arrested for Doing Group Exercises at a Park in Chongqing City

On May 8, 2001, many Dafa practitioners collectively stepped out to do the group exercises in a park; they validated Dafa to the public and suffocated the evil. Police illegally arrested about 30 practitioners. Ten of the practitioners were from Jiangbei Chang'an Factory. These fellow practitioners are now illegally held at Shibanpo Detention Center, Yuzhong District of Chongqing City (this prison is designated for holding felons). Among these practitioners, many are seniors over 60 years old.

When the practitioner was sticking the fliers in the door of an apartment, the housewife suddenly opened the door and the envelope containing Dafa truth material was dropped to the ground. While picking it up, she asked, "What is this you are delivering?" The practitioner said, "This is the truth of Falun Gong for your family. Please have a look. Our practitioner gratefully said "thank you" and went downstairs to continue his effort to offer salvation to people.

After the Spring Festival, Yushu City Police started another round of illegally arresting Falun Gong practitioners and forcing them to attend "reform" classes. They attempted to force Dafa practitioners to give up their beliefs in the universal Law of "Truthfulness, Benevolence, and Forbearance." They also forced Dafa practitioners and their family members to write and sign "guarantee letters." In order to report their success and make up the number, they had to trick another 20 Falun Gong practitioners who were once illegally detained after appealing to the police station. The police took photos of these practitioners along with others detained at the "reform" classes. They lied and claimed that all of them had been "reformed."

In the evening of April 29, policemen from Nangang Police Substation illegally broke into Dafa practitioner Bi Yunfei's work unit. Since May 8, police in Dengta City have been arresting Dafa practitioners. Wang Shusheng, Gao Yanxia, Zhang Jiujie and Liu Chongyang and others were arrested that night. Wang Shusheng and Gao Yanxia walked out of the police station with a righteous mindset that night. They are unable to go home and have to wander about.
