How Miraculous Falun Dafa Is!

My present age is 93 years old, but I attained Falun Dafa when I was 88.

Before I started practicing Falun Gong, I had very poor health. I had high blood pressure measuring 220/160. Half of my body was sluggish and numb, and I had difficulty moving my limbs. I was also very hot-tempered. Whenever I became angry, I would faint. I suffered daily from headaches and a high fever. I was unable to sleep at night, so I had to sit through the night, leaning upright against a quilt. I lived in torment because of the pain.

In June 1996, my daughter visited and taught me to practice Falun Dafa as well as other people in the village. She worked in another province and attained Dafa there. After I practiced Falun Gong, my health miraculously underwent a great change: chronic diseases from which I had suffered for so many years disappeared. I could eat and sleep well again. I threw away the crutches I used to rely upon and I did not need glasses anymore. A portion of my white hair has turned black, and people say that I look more like I am 70 years old. The most miraculous thing for an old lady like me is that I can read now. I was illiterate since childhood, and could not read. Now, not only can I read Lunyu [Note: statement of comments in Zhuan Falun], but I can also recite half of Hong Yin {Note: The grand poem, a collection of Teacher's poems]. When I read the book, I can see that every character in the book is shiny and golden. My fingertips, sparkle and shine when pointing to the characters. The book's color sometimes becomes light pink and sometimes deep pink, and is very pretty. When we study Fa together, I can see that there are rows and rows of characters on ceilings, walls, beds, and even the practitioners' bodies. Bigger characters appear on objects at a greater distance. Shortly after I began to practice, I saw Falun that had very bright blue and purple colors.

As I mentioned previously, after I practiced Falun Gong, my health became very good. I not only do not need my children to take care of me anymore, I also can help them do some household chores, such as doing laundry, cooking, cleaning the house, etc. I even help in the field during harvesting season. One day in the fall of 1999, I stood on a 10-foot high stack helping my children stack up cornstalks. My child was passing cornstalks to me from a lower position, and we were talking and laughing while working. Suddenly, I fell down head first from the 10-foot high stack. My children were horrified, and rushed to help me get up. I got up quickly and said, "I am alright. Do not worry. My teacher is protecting me!" Things like this have happened several times, but I was not hurt. I knew that it was Teacher who protected me because no real harm occurred.

It is beyond my imagination that the evil person, Jiang Zemin, forbids people to practice such a good cultivation system, and unscrupulously cracks down on Falun Gong. In my village, many fellow villagers, including my nephews, grandchildren, and daughters-in-law were detained, sent to labor camps, and levied heavy fines just because they practiced Falun Gong and went to Beijing for legal appeal. Jiang Zemin has broken up many harmonious families. I did not listen to the ridiculous propaganda being spread, and continued practicing Falun Gong. At the end of the year 2000, my daughter came home to see me and was arrested and sent to jail by the local police department. Like all my fellow villagers practicing Falun Gong, my daughter is a good child with a compassionate heart. She never did anything bad. Why was she sent to jail? In the meantime, local rascals who were gambling and stealing, beating and killing people walked freely on the street. Everyone, please judge for yourself who is right and who is wrong. What kind of society do we live in now?
