Canada Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Successfully Held in Ottawa

One thousand practitioners from across Canada, the United States, and other countries overseas gathered in Ottawa, the nation's capital, to celebrate the annual Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference of Canada. Roughly twenty practitioners--a mixture of both new and veteran, both Chinese and Western--shared their experiences in Dafa cultivation and their experiences assisting teacher in the process of Fa rectification.

The practitioners' presented both the lessons learned in their efforts to clarify the truth to the world's people regarding Jiang Zemin's wicked persecution of Dafa disciples, and the cultivation improvements they received as a result of these efforts. Their experiences inspired other practitioners to advance diligently, to redouble their efforts to offer salvation to everyday people, to remove the lies and propaganda spread by the Chinese government, and to eliminate evil in the world with the righteous thoughts of Dafa disciples.

A greeting to the conference, sent from Master Li, was read at the beginning of the conference. [Editor's note: the greeting from Master has been posted as Master's new article: Dafa Disciples' Greatness] The practitioners were all moved by the message, which set the stage for a magnificent Fa conference.

Practitioners were overwhelmed with joy when our great Teacher made an appearance later in the morning session. They listened intently as Teacher addressed the audience for about 20 minutes. Practitioners resolved to strive forward to eliminate their personal attachments and the evil within the three realms, spread the truth to the people of the world who are affected by the vicious propaganda initiated by Jiang Zemin, and use the firm, righteous thoughts of Dafa cultivators to aid in eliminating the evil factors in other dimensions that interfere with Fa rectification.

During the lunch break, roughly 500 practitioners gathered on Parliament Hill, amidst the Federal government buildings of Canada. Those Members of Parliament who looked into the central square during lunch time witnessed the moving, peaceful and harmonious Falun Dafa exercises. One member of the Canadian Parliament also sent his greetings for the success of our Fa conference.

Four professional artists, who are also Falun Dafa practitioners, displayed their artwork in a gallery at the Ottawa Congress Centre where the Fa Conference was held. Among them were Zhang Kunlun of Canada and Zhang Cuiying of Australia, who directly faced persecution and detention in China, and Jinyu Li, whose husband continues to be held in a Chinese labor camp. The opening of the art show on Tuesday was attended by several VIPs and Members of Parliament and was widely acclaimed. Some of the artists' work also reflects the situation of the persecution in China and the peaceful nature of Falun Dafa.

All practitioners will make more diligent strides toward completing cultivation as they return to their respective homes.
