Asiaweek magazine said on Thursday it views Falun Gong spiritual leader Li Hongzhi as the most powerful communicator in Asia, based on his ability to mobilise the masses through modern technology. Managing editor Zoher Abdoolcarim called Mr Li ''the logical choice'' for the top spot in Asiaweek's annual Power 50 list, but he declined to say whether he thinks China might halt distribution of the June 1 issue.
