My name is Li Jie (pseudonym) and I am 63 years old. I began practicing Falun Dafa in 1996. I practiced Dafa not for curing a disease, nor for pursuing any other attachments. After reading Zhuan Falun, there was only one conclusion in my mind: "Falun Dafa is for cultivating Buddhahood, cultivating 'Zhen-Shan-Ren,' and teaching an individual how to be a good human being." Everyone in my family and in the workplace knows that I am a good person.
Since the ban against Falun Gong by the government on July 20, 1999, I have gone to appeal four times at the Appeals Office [a government agency to which citizens can report if their cases have been handled improperly by local officials--translator] and Tiananmen Square. Everyone in my family practices Falun Dafa, and all my children supported me when I went to Beijing. On April 25, 2000, when I was leaving for Beijing again, my son suddenly tried everything to stop me. I failed to leave home that day. That night I saw a demon in my dream, and it tangled all around me and would not let me move. I told the demon "You can't stop me," and I swung my arm lightly backwards. The demon fell dead instantly. The next morning I told my son the dream, and commented that it was so easy to eliminate demons -- the one in my dream fell dead as soon as I swung my arm. My son's face turned red. We both realized that it was the interference from the demon of sentimentality that made him stop me from leaving. After getting clear about this, I was ready to leave for Beijing. On my way out, I told my family members that I would return in three days.
As soon as I arrived at the Jinshui Bridge, Tiananmen Square, I unfolded a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" and shouted loudly "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" and "Falun Dafa is persecuted wrongly." I saw several policemen running over, I shouted in tears: "I knew you are going to arrest me, but we still follow our Teacher's guidance, and try to save you. Kindhearted people, wake up!" I knew that my voice was shaking the ten-directional-world. I screamed again "shaking the ten directional world." The grand, magnificent and solemn scene moved the policemen. One of them burst into tears.
I kept shouting: "Falun Dafa is the righteous Fa" loudly, with tears streaming down my face. One of the policemen came to me and said, "Stop shouting and take a break." He did not beat or swear at me, instead, he asked me to go home. They sent me to a crossroads under a bridge. It was dark, and I was lost. I asked: Teacher, I am lost, would you please point me to the right direction? All of a sudden, I saw an arrow appear in front of the bridge. I followed the arrow to the bridge. There was a woman there, and she told me the way to the Western Railway Station. I came back home safely on the train. My son was thrilled to see me. "Mom is incredible," he said. "She came back home in three days as she promised." At the time, I didn't know that was supernatural power, which can accomplish whatever I wish to accomplish.
Another example, one day I was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying literature to someone's home. The door opened right after I slid the flier under the door. I thought that I am a Dafa practitioner, and he would not see me. The guy was wondering why there was nobody there, although I was standing right in front of him. I spoke to Teacher in my heart, "Teacher, it's magical!" Of course, the righteous thought, which comes out instantly and naturally, derives from long-time cultivation of Xinxing [mind and heart nature] and study of the Fa. This is a very serious matter.
On January 8, 2001, while I was working at home, the leader of my workplace broke into my home together with seven or eight other people. They tried to send me to the "reform class" [a class that tries to force Dafa practitioners to denounce Dafa--translator]. I told myself that I would never cooperate with the vicious forces, and I wouldn't follow them. They pulled me, pushed me, and twisted my arms. I said to them sternly "Good and evil will get their just rewards. One who mistreats Dafa practitioners will definitely get punished." One righteous thought can subdue one hundred evils. I extended my arms and thought, nobody dares to touch me. I walked out of my home with dignity, took my bicycle and rode away. When I looked back, I saw everybody looking at me blankly, but nobody was moving.
I did not meet with that many tribulations in the course of my cultivation. I wholeheartedly follow Teacher's guidance to eliminate evil forces and assist Teacher to rectify the Fa. After the publishing of Teacher's article "Beyond the Limits of Forbearance" on January 1, 2001, I realized that it was time to completely eliminate evil beings.
In early May 2001, one practitioner whose celestial eye was open saw degenerated beings from a high level dimension. They said to him, "We are also practicing the righteous Fa, why don't you follow us? We have stayed in your body for ten days already." These beings tortured and disturbed him constantly. He could not sleep or eat, nor could he get rid of them; he was under the control of these monsters. The practitioner saw himself degrading gradually. Under such an extremely painful condition, the practitioner told me the situation and hoped that we could help him to get rid of the degenerated beings. A few other practitioners and I went to his home. We studied the Fa together, did the Falun Gong exercises together, and we all generated righteous thoughts of "eliminating vicious demons." The affected practitioner was sitting among us. I saw a demon's head come out of the practitioner's forehead, which was very terrifying. I was shocked and made the move of "Vajra Toppling a Mountain" (Jinggang Paishan). The demon was gone instantly. After we came out of the sitting in tranquility, we noticed there was black water in a corner of the house. We did not know what was going on at that time. After reading the article "What Shanshan Saw in Other Dimensions" [on Minghui Net], we knew that the demon had melted into black water. The practitioner recovered instantly. He looked very healthy and said, "I feel so good." After the publishing of Teacher's new article "Dafa Disciple's Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful," he really woke up, and realized that he hadn't studied the Fa well, and did not discipline himself well and was ultimately controlled by demons. Nowadays, he studies the Fa everyday, and experienced all the processes of eliminating demons described in the article "What Shanshan Saw in Other Dimensions."
Once he was practicing the exercises, and noticed there were a few demon heads coming out of the ground. He wasn't sure what to do at first. Teacher's guidance came to his mind: "Though you may find one that has practiced cultivation for nearly one thousand years, a tiny finger will be more than enough to crush it." The practitioner then said, "Teacher, I am so dumb, I don't know what to do with it." Teacher told him, "Release Falun!" [the Law Wheel] When the practitioner thought of releasing Falun, all those demons disappeared. He was so excited and yelled, "Falun is so powerful! Dafa is so powerful!" He wanted to practice the exercises again, but could not recall the formulas (the short poems Teacher says before each exercise in the exercise tape -translator). Teacher showed in front of his eyes the formulas of the five exercises. After the exercises, he felt his body was warmed up, and the entire body was so full of energy that he had more strength than he could use. From then on, he sent out his righteous thoughts from time to time, and eliminated demons whenever he saw them. Once he saw a demon from a very high level. He said to it, "You come here to interfere with Dafa, I am going to eliminate you." The demon said, "I'll pull down and ruin as many practitioners as possible, and everyone counts." The practitioner told it, "Our Teacher is pulling up and saving as many practitioners as possible. Teacher has saved me. I will eliminate every single one of you."
From the cultivation process of this practitioner, I saw exactly what happened in using the righteous thoughts to eliminate demons. It strengthened my confidence in studying Dafa, forming righteous thoughts, and using Dafa's supernormal power to eliminate demons. Recently, I went to a few detention centers and labor camps. All the time when I was there, I used my righteous thoughts to eliminate vicious demons, and help practitioners to wake up and come back to the Fa. For those "reformed" people, those whose main consciousness were not strong enough, or those who were under the control of demons, my husband and I visited them in their homes and studied the Fa with them. Together we improved ourselves and eliminated negativity through studying the Fa. The righteous thoughts of my husband and me would go to the places where there were most evil spirits and demons. Using our righteous thoughts, we helped many practitioners who lost confidence in Dafa to see the power of Dafa again.
There was one practitioner who wrote a "guarantee letter" to the government in prison. She deeply regretted it and felt great pain in her heart. She was looking for fellow practitioners to talk about it, but nobody wanted to see her, and some practitioners simply shut the door in her face. She collapsed under the combination of low self-esteem, guilt, and the huge psychological pressure. She waited passively, took whatever she was forced to endure, and eventually she was controlled by demons. We decided to talk with her. On our way to visit her, my husband and I had the righteous thoughts, i.e., to eliminate the demons controlling her. First I used "Ding Gong" (a supernormal ability to nail things--translator) to stop the dark spirits from moving, and then we used the supernatural powers cultivated in our bodies to eliminate them, then eventually we crushed the demons using Falun and melted them. The fellow practitioner recovered after the demons were killed. There were many other stories like this. I felt that as long as we possess the righteous thoughts, evil spirits and demons will definitely be suppressed. Currently, my husband and I are going to the places where the demons are most active and menacing. We will eliminate them wherever we go. If everybody could apply righteous thoughts at all times, there would be no room for such evil forces to run rampant. The Fa will also get rectified.
Lastly, I would like to remind everybody that righteous thoughts come through studying the Fa and cultivating Xinxing. It is very solemn and sacred. These are not just some ideas that we can create via everyday people's minds. Cultivating our Xinxing and assimilating to the Fa is the only way to attain powerful, righteous, and true thoughts.
