A Western practitioner in Canada

From my own experience of using righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, I would like to share the following:

"Eliminating Evil Using Righteous Thought" is not a passive exercise where we sit in a conscious and aware state of ding. The evil forces are not passive in attacking Dafa, so therefore let us not be passive in eliminating them.

Master said "So in the process of eliminating it [evil force] don't be lenient at all--just eliminate it!"

We should be consciously aware of intending to eliminate the evil. In fact, this is not merely an intention; it is a reality. During this exercise, from my heart I just command all evil to die.

It is not enough to simply recite a set phrase in our minds either. Nor can we anxiously attack out of anger, spite or excitement. This activity must come from our cultivated heart of mighty virtue. Our righteous hearts to follow Teacher, rectify the Fa and eliminate the evil within the three realms, are unshakable and indestructible.

We must be consciously and actively taking part in this historical process. Do not take part only on the surface and miss this chance Teacher has given us. Command every single one of your particles in all dimensions to take part in eliminating the evil. Command all beings under, in and around you to join us in eliminating the evil that attacks the Fa in the three realms.
