- "Those people cannot represent me, and they cannot represent Chinese people outside China."
On the afternoon of May 18, when several practitioners were on their way to participate in the parade in Ottawas Chinatown, they met an old Chinese gentleman. He came up to the practitioners and spoke to them about Falun Gong. He mentioned that last week a local Chinese newspaper used the name of a Chinese association to petition against Falun Gong.. The old man disliked the petition a lot. He said with a slightly agitated voice, "Those people cannot represent me, and they cannot represent Chinese people outside China." He also said that he wrote an article in response to this incident, yet the newspaper did not dare publish it since they were being pressured. The old man suggested practitioners use legislative ways to protect their rights. He said that the article in the newspaper slandered Falun Gong recklessly, and he thought the author had violated the law. "The article was against Canadas consistent policy of advocating multicultural development. Canada is a tolerant society, where everyones beliefs should be respected. Although I do not practice Falun Gong, I do support you practitioners!"
- Practitioners Sing at the Celebration
During the celebration, Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world shared how theyve greatly changed after practicing Falun Gong, and they were well understood and supported by the audience. Among them, two practitioners from Toronto beautifully expressed their calls for justice and their good wishes for all kind people with their singing. A western practitioner from Ottawa sung a song that was personally written, pushing the celebration to its height.
- The Cooperative Weather
During the celebration, there was some light rain. However, when the parade was about to begin, the sun suddenly came out from behind the clouds and the blue sky appeared. From this change in climate, all practitioners drew inspiration. In the afternoon, accompanied by the bright sunshine and the peaceful music of Pudu and Jishi (Dafas music), the parade went through the major streets of downtown Ottawa and concluded at the Chinese Embassy. Practitioners did the exercises on the lawn in front of the Embassy building, peacefully appealing to the Chinese government. The pictures taken by practitioners show various colors of light being emitted by the huge energy field. We deeply felt the great power of righteous belief and thoughts emanating from practitioners. By 9 PM, when the activities had finished, it suddenly started to rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning. According to a local practitioner, it hadnt rained this heavy in the past year. The weather forecast had said there would be thunderstorms all day.
- Falun Cleans Up Other Dimensions
On the Evening of May 18, during the thunderstorm, a practitioner from the U. S. saw a huge Falun in the sky. The swiftly spinning Falun was cleaning up the evil beings in the other dimensions with an unprecedented speed.
