Practitioners in Scotland Send Forth Righteous Thoughts

At 9:30am, June 3, practitioners from Scotland gathered in front of the Chinese Consulate in Edinburgh to send forth righteous thoughts for the third time and to eradicate the evil.

The sky, which was sunny shortly before, became covered with dark clouds. While we were busy hanging up banners across the street from the Chinese Consulate, a gentleman came out from a house behind us and asked us to move to the sidewalk on the other side of the road, where the Chinese Consulate was located. We didn't give much thought to it and just went across to the other side. A practitioner suddenly realized that we didn't have to do what he wanted us to do. We have to make our own judgment with a clear mind. Therefore we read the police permit again carefully, and decided to go back to the other side, because that was the designated location for our activities.

When we had just hung the banners up, that gentleman came out again. We showed him the police permit politely, and he didn't have a problem with that. However, he insisted that we couldn't hang our banners on any part of his property, not even a brick or a blade of grass. This was in sharp contrast to his attitude on April 25. At that time he had let us hang our banners high up on his trees. We knew that the evil forces were making desperate struggles before their complete elimination, but this couldn't affect us. We hung the banners up on two pillars on the roadside instead. It worked just fine.

When we sent forth righteous thoughts for the first time at 10am (GMT), many of us wanted to cry. So began the battle to eliminate the evil. The sky was at first cloudy, and then became sunny again. After about ten minutes of elimination, we began practicing again. At about 10:40am, the police came and asked us to remove the banners from the pillars because we were not allowed to hang anything on public property. So the interruption came again. But this was nothing in the face of practitioners' wisdom. We tied the banners on a baby carriage and a bicycle, and one of us stood aside holding one end of the banners. In this way four banners were successfully unfurled.

Then we sent forth righteous thoughts again. Even in this dimension, we could feel the intensity of the battle between the righteous and the evil. The sky was again packed with dark clouds, and gusts of ice-cold wind began blowing. In the biting cold wind, practitioners recited Teacher's verse the Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated. Gradually the cold wind subsided and it turned warm again.

When we sent forth righteous thoughts for the third time, it was quite obvious to us that the evil forces were already suffering a reeling defeat. Many practitioners felt very serene and peaceful. One practitioner said she could feel every word of the Teacher's verse striking forth from the bottom of her heart.

While we were sharing our thoughts afterwards, all of us felt that it was really a great honour and also an important mission for Dafa practitioners to participate directly in the elimination of the evil forces at the final stage of Fa-rectification. We should increase the depth of our efforts to clarify the truth, eradicate the evil completely, and offer salvation with great compassion to those people who still have righteous thoughts.
