[China] National Public Security Department SECRET ORDER: "If A Dafa Practitioner was Beaten to Death, Cremate the Body Immediately. No Identification is Required."

A policeman from a city police department, assigned to arrest Falun Gong practitioners in Tiananmen Square, revealed that, last year, the National Public Security Department issued an order to all Beijing Police Departments. The order stated that all the Falun Gong practitioners who were beaten to death, police must "Immediately cremate the body; no identification is required." This order even shocked the policemen in the city police departments. They could not understand the insanity of their superiors.

[Liaoning Province] Authorities from the Liaoning Province Police Bureau Committed a New Crime in Persecuting Falun Gong

Recently, personnel from the Liaoning Province Police Bureau made the decision to send all 90 Falun Gong practitioners to the Liaoyang City Administration Detention Center for further persecution. These practitioners were previously housed in different detention centers throughout Liaoning Province. They were detained, persecuted and tortured over half a year. The reason for their suffering? They went to validate Dafa in Tiananmen Square early this year where they refused to cooperate with the vicious forces and did not tell their names and addresses. We are hereby exposing this new crime, committed under the orders of and by Jiang Zemin's Criminal Regime, to world media and international human rights organization.

People from the Shenyang City Police Department/ Tiexi Police Station illegally detained male Dafa practitoner Guao Baoshi from Shenyang City because he exposed the vicious forces. After his arrest, the police feared that he might run away and therefore locked him in an iron cage.

[Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Shenyang City "6.12 Office" Issued Another New Criminal Order

Last month, the Shenyang City "6.12 Office" [an office founded on June 12 specializing in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in Shenyang City] issued a document to every level of the city government and to large enterprises and companies in the city. Related orders from the "6.10 office" require to immediately "transform through brainwashing" those Falun Gong practitioners who could not previously be "transformed." Those practitioners who cannot be "transformed" before July 20, will be dismissed from their party memberships, expelled from their jobs, their pension will be suspended and they will be forcibly sent to "brainwashing classes." Zemin's purposes] If they still cannot be "transformed," they will be put into labor camps. This shows that Jiang Zemin's criminal regime has exhausted all its tricks. The regime's totalitarian, dictatorial face is completely exposed. We hope all people awaken and help to stop the evil.

[China] Kind-hearted People are Gradually Awakening

On June 5, 2001, I went out to take care of business, bringing many Dafa banners with me. Although Tiananmen Square was not on my way, I remembered that the vicious forces assembled there. Therefore, I took a bus detour and, on the way home, passed by Tiananmen Square. After I got off the bus at the East/West Bus Stations at Tiananmen Square, I posted flyers on the door of every bus passing by. Upon seeing this, kind-hearted people smiled at me. When I reached out my hand to post flyers outside the bus I was on, a taxi-driver slowed his car down, smiled at me and complimented me with a "thumbs-up" gesture.

[Heilongjiang Province] People who have Learned the Truth

In a city of Heilongjiang Province, two practitioners were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials. The two practitioners kept firmly in their mind Teacher's words, "Dafa disciples' righteous thoughts are powerful" and clarified the truth of Falun Dafa to the arresting officers. They told the police of Teacher's compassion for having spread Dafa for the last 9 years and the hardships he has gone through. The practitioners also talked about the purpose of Falun Dafa practitioners assisting the Teacher in the human world to clarify the truth. They explained the causality of "good will be rewarded with good and being evil is met with evil." The director and policemen quietly nodded their heads and agreed with the practitioners. At that same moment, the police director's backache from which he had suffered for many years suddenly reoccurred. He had to lie down. A practitioner told him, "Your disease will disappear if you let us go."

At last the director said, "I will let you go. Be careful next time." After spreading Dafa for about seven hours in the police office, the two practitioners continued to clarify the truth.

[Jilin City, Jilin Province] The Jilin City Police Department Personnel Compile Fake Scriptures to Arrest Dafa Practitioners

Recently, in order to arrest Dafa practitioners, the people in the Jilin City Police Department held a secret meeting and decided to compile fake scriptures. They used the betrayers to distribute the false scriptures to deceive Dafa practitioners. They followed Dafa practitioners who distributed the false scriptures and arrested them. Let us send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil and completely break up this vile plot.

[China] Xian City: Special Agents from the National Security Bureau Secretly Kidnapped Dafa Practitioners

Around April 25, 2001, the National Security Bureau sent special agents, followed by plainclothes policemen, to keep under surveillance and then illegally arrest Dafa practitioners near their homes. It is said that over 100 Dafa practitioners from Xian City and other cities were secretly kidnapped. Many Dafa materials and computers as well as printers have been confiscated. The vicious forces tried their best to block the information so that their crimes could not be exposed. The whereabouts of these arrested practitioners are unknown.

[Changchun City, Jinlin Province] Atrocities in Changchun Female Labor Camp: Disfiguring Dafa Practitioners' Faces with Electric Batons

Around the Chinese Spring Festival [on January 24, 2001], the labor camp organized a so-called "Help & Education Delegation" to brainwash practitioners. Prior to May 2000, practitioners were punched and kicked on a daily basis for practicing the Falun Gong exercises. With the aid of electric stun batons, practitioners were beaten black and blue, tied on the "death bed" (an iron bedstead reserved for common criminals who have been sentenced for execution), forced to squat down in solitary cells and various other cruel punishments. The practitioners were tortured daily.

Here are a few case histories and examples of abuses:

Yang Shumei: The jail guard burned her face with the electric baton because she practiced the Falun Dafa exercises. Some practitioners on the second floor could hear the horrible shrieks of this practitioner locked up on the third floor. Later on they found out that the guard was burning the practitioner's face so severely with the electric baton that the flesh fell off her face. The guard tortured her inhumanly simply because she refused to break from Dafa.

One day, when I was working on a second-floor windowsill, I saw 2 guards and a "transformed" betrayer twisting a Dafa practitioner's hands behind her back. Later on they put this practitioner into a solitary cell for several days. This practitioner lost consciousness.

Qu Hongmei, Tan Chengxiang, Xu Hongxiang and other 3 practitioners had been tied up on the "death bed" for 13 days. They were only removed right before high-level officials came to do an inspection.

[Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] A Dafa Practitioner was Forcibly Sent to "Reform Class;" A Young Daughter Cries Daily for her Mother

Last year, Liu Huifeng, a worker of the Zhujiang Hotel, Guangzhou Military Region, resigned from her work unit before she went to Beijing to appeal. This April, people from the police department and officials from her work unit forcibly sent her to a "reform class," for brainwashing. She has not been released yet.

It is very sad that her 5 year-old daughter was left at home, crying for her Mom everyday. Nevertheless, Jiang Zemin and his accomplices, the "Human Rights Scoundrels" judged by Amnesty International, lied and said that Falun Gong practitioners do not take care of their families and ignore their relatives.

[Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] The Persecution Situation of Dafa Practitioners from Places around the Country are Illegally Detained in Jinzhou's Second Detention Center

At the beginning of the year 2001, some practitioners from other places in the country who appealed in Beijing and did not tell their addresses were detained in Jinzhou's Second Detention Center. They all have suffered vicious tortures and persecution. Now we disclose some of the real situations, to hopefully arouse the attention from kind-hearted people and to stop the atrocities. Following are some of their stories.

1. Dafa practitioner He Yexuan

He Yexuan, female, 49 years old, from Yantan city, Shandong Province, was sent to Jinzhou at the end of 2000. At 3pm on February 8, she was interrogated by the "621" Office. During that interrogation, the police mobsters forced her to tell her name and address. After she refused to comply they beat her, handcuffed her hands behind her back and lifted her up by the handcuffs. She lost consciousness due to the severe pain. One short-sized thug said, "She faked it, go on and beat her." Another tall police officer continued to beat her up. After a long time of beating her, they sent her back to her cell. Her right shoulder was dislocated. The cellmates helped her to put it back into place. She was escorted back to her hometown 20 days later.

2. Dafa practitioner Han Zhongying

Han Zhongying, female, 51 years old, a farmer of Gansu Province, who cannot read. Since she benefited a lot from cultivating Dafa, she just wanted to go to Beijing and say, "Falun Dafa is Good." As a result, at the end of the year 2000, she was arrested and sent to Jinzhou City.

About 3pm of February 8, the city "621" Office [an office set up to harass and persecute Falun Dafa practitioners] interrogated her. She returned 2 hours later with bruises all over her swollen face. She said the vicious people were planning to interrogate her again in the evening. At 8 pm, she was brought out of her cell and tortured again for another 2 hours. The police employed the most despicable methods and used the foulest, dirtiest language. They unbuttoned her clothing and electrically shocked every part of her body, except her chest. They shocked her most on the palms of her hands and the arches of her feet; they also punched and kicked her; stabbed her fingertips and face with needles. Her face was grotesquely swollen; one could hardly recognize her. After she was sent back, she could no longer raise her arms and her whole body was trembling.

[China] The Suffering of Dafa Practitioner Zhang Jing's Family

The 3 members of Dafa Practitioner Zhang Jing's (pseudonym) family were all sick before they practiced Falun Gong. For a long time, the mother was bed-ridden. Zhang Jing and her sister also had many diseases. For many months, the whole family had been plagued by diseases. After practicing Falun Gong for seven days, the mother miraculously got out of bed and was able to move about freely. Zhang Jing and her sister also broke away from diseases; the whole family was grateful toward Master Li and Falun Dafa from the bottom of their hearts.

Jiang Zemin's criminal regime, however, brutally persecutes Falun Dafa and practitioners. After the Spring Festival, they persecuted Dafa practitioners in an even more vicious way. Zhang Jing is on the "wanted" list of Xinchun Village/Nanguan District/Changchun City. The branch director of the village party committee, Li, stood outside the front door of Zhang Jing's home for a whole night, trying to arrest Zhang Jing, but failed. He then attempted to arrest Zhang Jing at her work unit. This attempt also failed. Since then, Zhang Jing is unable to go to work or go home and has to wander about as a homeless person. Nobody knows her whereabouts now. In frustration and desperation, the mobsters climbed into Zhang Jing's home from a window on the 7^th floor and took her mother away from home. Her mother is being held at the compulsory "brainwashing" class up until now. She has been "Following Teacher closely, steadfastly cultivating Dafa." Those felons then threatened Zhang Jing's sister and asked her for money and valuables. She is now alone by herself and is being threatened from time to time.

Which part of Chinese law did we violate by cultivating Falun Dafa and purifying our body and mind? Why are Dafa practitioners and their family members suffering such a degree of persecution?

[Xianyang City, Shan'xi Province] Illegal Labor Camp Sentence for A Dafa Practitioner Couple From Xianyang City

Recently, Dafa practitioners Lu Yizhong and Wang Ailian, a couple, were sentenced to a forced labor camp for clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to the public. Criminals who persecuted them include Gao Fan, the section chief of the Political & Security Section of Weicheng District Police Substation of Xianyang City.

[China] The Power of Benevolent Thoughts

I am a Dafa practitioner. A few days ago my child's aunt accidentally scalded her foot with boiling water. She was in extreme pain at that time. The doctor told her that she would not be able to walk for at least 10 to 15 days and neither could she work. While she was sitting there applying the unguent (ointment), my mother was also present. I told them the truth about Falun Dafa. After hearing my words, she said from the bottom of her heart, "Mother and I both know that 'Falun Dafa is Good." After saying that, her foot ache stopped immediately and went away completely. Several days later her foot was recovered! After this incident I told her, "This is the mighty power of Dafa," you said 'Falun Dafa is Good' from the bottom of your heart the other day, 'Good will be rewarded with good and evil is met with evil.' It is our Master who protected you and lessened your suffering."

Kind-hearted people, when you speak out "Falun Dafa is Good," "Falun Dafa is the righteous practice" from the bottom of your heart, you will feel the same power of the Great Law of the Universe.
