Falun Dafa Performed A Miracle for Me

I am a highly educated individual, who has a career in research and teaching. I would like to share with you the profound changes I have experienced since I started practicing Falun Dafa.

I had always been unhealthy as a young child. I almost died from difficult labour when giving birth to my child. Since then, I had become even more susceptible to illnesses. I have suffered from tuberculosis, tracheitis, cholecystitis, hepatitis B, heart murmur, arthritis, dropsy in my legs, and insomnia, etc. To find cures for these many ailments, I visited many hospitals and was taking western and/or Chinese medications daily. The amount of medication exceeded my regular diet. Much money, time and energy had been expended, and yet nothing seemed to work. I was getting sicker and sicker day after day. When I heard that Qigong could cure some of the illnesses, I pursued it. I learned various Qigong practices and was also treated by a Qigong master. However, instead of getting better, something horrible happened to me after having practiced the various Qigong exercises for some time: the skin around my neck looked like fish scales; numerous huge ulcers grew out of my neck, head and face; one after another, black spots appeared on my face. I was scared and depressed. I visited the best skin doctors and specialists available and was told that it was incurable.

Just when I felt that I had nowhere to turn to, I was lucky enough to get to know Falun Dafa.

I started practicing Falun Dafa on October 1, 1998. I practiced and studied the Fa, adhering to the principles of Truthfulness, Benevolence and Forbearance. My xinxing was improving while my physical health was changing for the better: my neck became normal and the black spots on my face disappeared, the skin all over my body became smooth and delicate. I started to look youthful and felt energetic. The hospitals confirmed that all the illnesses I originally suffered from were cured. Two years now into the practice, I have become another person. The changes I experienced were a miracle created by Falun Dafa.

Many of my coworkers, friends and students remembered my horrible face. To validate Falun Dafa, I sought them out. Each and every one of them was astonished to see the changes in me. They couldn't believe that it was at all possible. They asked what brought about such a miracle and how I had recovered. I told them that it was because I practice Falun Dafa. It was Falun Dafa that saved me and gave me a second chance for life. Having witnessed the changes in me, they all said, "Falun Gong is good. We will not believe the lies shown on TV and in the newspapers anymore."
