The Yellow River in Shandong Province at a Record Low While Deaths of Practitioners are Rising

[Minghui Net] The newspaper "Beijing Evening" reported on June 8, 2001, that since summer began, the volume of flow at the Lijin hydrostation, on the lower part of the Yellow River in Shandong Province, is 50 cubic meters per second. It has even dropped as low as 46 cubic meters per second. The average volume of flow of this part of the river is 260 cubic meters per second. In order to guarantee enough water to sustain the flora and fauna in the area, agricultural production throughout the Yellow River basin in Shandong Province must stop using water from the Yellow River.

This recalls the words from from the book Zhuan Falun [main book of Falun Gong]: "If humankind does not acknowledge the moral deterioration and do something about it, heaven will." The people of Shandong Province must now choose between growing food and the natural life of their area. It is a warning from heaven.

Vicious forces have persecuted Dafa most furiously in Shandong Province. As of June 6, 2001, Minghui reported, 217 Dafa practitioners have died from beatings and torture while in detention. Shandong Province accounts for 46 of those deaths, or 21%, more than any other region.

Ms. Zhao Jinhua, from Zhaoyuan, Shandong Province, was beaten to death on October 7, 1999 in the local detention center. A post-mortem examination showed large areas of trauma and bruises caused by hemorrhaging under the skin [subdermal hematosis] all over her body. The examining doctor concluded Ms. Zhao had been severely beaten with padded objects.

Chen Zixiu is from Weifang, Shandong Province. Wall street Journal Staff Reporter, Ian Johnson, reported in that newspaper on April 20^th 2000, "...the day before Chen Zixiu died, her captors again demanded that she renounce her faith in Falun Dafa. Barely conscious after repeated jolts from a cattle prod, the 58-year-old stubbornly shook her head. Enraged, the local officials ordered Ms. Chen to run barefoot in the snow. Two days of torture had left her legs bruised and her short black hair matted with pus and blood, said cellmates and other prisoners who witnessed the incident. She crawled outside, vomited and collapsed. She never regained consciousness, and died on Feb. 21."

Chen Xueling, Chen Zixiu's daughter, was arrested for telling people her mother's story of how she was beaten to death for persisting in her belief in Falun Dafa.

Ms. Wang Lixuan, age 27, was a Falun Dafa practitioner from Nangou Village, Qixiasikou Town of Shangdong Province. Her son, Meng Hao, was less than 8 months old. On November 7, 2000, Lixuan and her son were tortured to death at the Tuanhe labor camp in Beijing. Upon being examined by the forensic doctor, their bodies showed shocking evidence of excessive brutality.

The inhuman atrocities that took place in Shandong Province need not be recounted one by one. "Heaven will hold sway if everyday people don't!" The heavy drought is not a coincidence. It is retribution for persecuting Falun Dafa. Everyday people who still have compassion should wake up now! Those evil persons who assist Jiang Zemin should know that their deeds are being redressed. To those persecutors I say, "Leave your evil deeds behind you and follow a righteous path. You should make up for what you have done. Otherwise, what you face will be extremely dreadful."
