Extraordinary Rain

On Saturday June 16, 2001, different groups of Dafa practitioners in Montreal, Canada were preparing to send forth their righteous thoughts to 'Eliminate evil in the three realms.' About 25 of us gathered in Chinatown. Something very special happened that day.

Our practice site was a small, nice public park inside a crowded commercial area. Passers-by could see us very clearly; many were curious and stopped to watch us. During the first time we sent forth righteous thoughts (5:00p.m.), at the end of the fifteen minutes, it began to rain with heavy drops, but it was still contained when we finished. Nothing happened.

The second time, at 6:00 p.m,, when we were all sitting down and began to send forth righteous thoughts, an extraordinary rain suddenly burst out -- heavy drops, thunder, flashes of lightning, cold winds -- all incessantly lashing down on us. But none of us stepped back. We continued through the fifteen minutes doing the three periods of sending forth righteous thoughts while all the passers-by were running for shelter inside the restaurants or shops nearby. When we finished, the rain finished abruptly, too. All of us were completely wet but happy to have made it through. We looked at each other and smiled.

When we prepared ourselves for the third time of sending forth righteous thoughts together at 7:00 p.m., it began to rain again. Psychologically we were prepared for the hardest part to come, but nothing happened. Was Master training us for the 'battle?'

Did anybody who witnessed these scenes think or see something special in the air? At the very least, everyone certainly could see the determination of Dafa practitioners in what they were doing.
