San Francisco Chronicle: Falun gong

Cora Jiang (far right) of Berkeley joined dozens of Falun Gong practitioners outside the Chinese Consulate in San Francisco to protest China's continued crackdown on followers of the spiritual movement. Falun Gong is outlawed in Mainland China as an "[Chinese government's slanderous term omitted]." Followers say its meditative exercises and principles are designed to improve one's inner self.
