Heaven Brings Forth Angry Thunders, while Earth is Plagued by a Locust Epidemic

[Minghui Net] According to a wire from Central News Agency in Taipei on June 18, based on statistics from Hainan Province's Lightening Prevention Technical Center, thirty-six people had a fatal encounter with lightening strikes from March to mid June this year; an increase of seventeen people compared with the same period last year. Nine cattle were also killed by lightening; sixteen houses were damaged and a number of transformers, television sets, computers and communication equipments were destroyed. Direct economic loss was more than eight million Yuan RMB (about one million USD)

At the same time, China Central TV reported that up to June 5, eleven provinces, cities and self-administrative regions including Shandong, Hebei, Henan, Xinjiang, Hainan, Tibet, and others had summer locusts cover an area of over 1 million hectares. It affected 160 counties, cities, and boroughs in which over 20 counties had a high concentration of locust. In the most severe areas, each square meter had 3,000 to 10,000 locusts.

What heavenly laws had Hainan Province transgressed that evoked such angry thunders from above and locust plagues below?

Since "human rights scoundrel" Jiang Zemin started to wantonly persecute Falun Gong, the Hainan government had prostrated itself and followed Jiang Zemin's orders closely. Many Falun Gong practitioners were illegally detained, sent to labor camp and even sentenced to jail. Many practitioners were brutally beaten, and tortured until they were severely disabled or had died. Many lost their home and loved ones.

Practitioner Zhuang Guangxin, male, born in 1979, lived in Zhulian Village of Zhulian Town, Boao Borough, Qionghai City, Hainan Province. On October 7, 2000, he was detained on the 7^th floor of the Jinrong Building at Chengnan Police Station of Qionghai City. On the morning of October 8, his body was found in front of the building. His eyes were wide-open, and his whole body was covered with wounds. Based on eyewitnesses' account, there were no blood stains on his body . The witnesses surmised that Zhuang Guangxin was thrown off the building after he died.

Zheng Qi, male, 24 years old. He was originally a clerk at Qionghai City Traffic Department Development Company. In October 2000 he was dismissed because he wanted to continue practicing Falun Gong. On October 6 he was arrested at his home. He was taken to room 809 at the Jinrong Building, interrogated and viciously harassed. The responsible party feared the truth would be let out, so they transferred and locked him up at the Qionghai City First Detention Center afterwards.

Hainan Province Female Labor Camp, another of Hainan Province's oppressive dens, used the most vicious and dirty means to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners were deprived of their basic human rights and dignities. They were prevented from practicing or studying Falun Gong, and were beaten by other detainees in the labor camp under the explicit direction of the police if they were caught. Practitioners were forced to work over 10 hours everyday without any days off.

Falun Dafa practitioners from outside of Hainan met with the same fate while in Hainan. On May 4, 2001, Gansu Province practitioners Du Ting, Shanghai practitioner Fu Xiaohong, Hainan practitioner Zhao Lifang, Fan xx, Liang Bo ( 7 months pregnant), practitioner Li Hui (alias), Li Xin (alias), a practitioner couple and their one-year old child from Shandong were dragged out of their living quarters in Haikou City by the Haidian police. They were separately detained at Haikou's First and Second Detention Centers. No one knows whether they are still alive.

The villains of Hainan Province in their sycophantic attempt to appease Jiang Zemin, have harshly persecuted Falun Dafa and did many evil deeds. This incensed both humans and gods. While the evil authorities brought tribulations to thousands of innocent and good-natured Falun Gong practitioners, they also brought endless disasters to the local inhabitants.

To people in the maze, your indifference to this evil persecution mistakenly believing that it is impertinent, is tacit connivance with the perpetrator. To avoid disasters, the only way is to clearly distinguish between good and evil, quell the evil and embrace the good; follow the principles of the cosmos. Only then can you have a bright future for you and your loved ones.
