June 26, 2001 was United Nations International Day in Support of Victims of Torture. The theme for this year was "Let's Oppose Torture Together." At 9:00am, practitioners from Switzerland and Germany held the "SOS! Urgent: Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Persecuted in China" event in front of the UN. They held a photo exhibition, prepared a press release, distributed flyers and did group practice. They also sent forth righteous thoughts and eradicated the evil several times. The event ended at 5:00pm.
