At noon on Tuesday, June 5, nearly 200 practitioners gathered at the Chinese Consulate and demanded that the Chinese government immediately release the illegally detained overseas practitioners.

They held banners which read "It is not a crime to practice Falun Gong" and "Free the innocent Falun Gong practitioners: Dr. Teng Chunyan, Mr. Li Tianqi, Ms. Zhu Ying, Mr. Zhao Ming, Mr. Zhu Keming", etc. They also set up a large photo exhibition showing the pictures of the detained overseas practitioners and the brutal persecutions of Falun Gong by Jiang Zemin and his criminal gang.

All the practitioners stood quietly and solemnly in front of the Consulate. Some practitioners distributed truth-clarifying literature to the passersby. Many people stopped to take a look and express their concern.

The practitioners asked the police to deliver an open letter to the Chinese Consulate.

The Sydney practitioners will continue to appeal at the Chinese Consulate every day until the Fa rectifies the human world.
