While Silently Reciting Teacher's Fa-Rectification Verse, I Walked Out of the Detention Center in an Upright and Dignified Manner

A practitioner in China

(Clearwisdom Net) My name is Li Zhengyu (pseudonym). I am 52 years old. Before I attained the Fa in 1996, I suffered from many diseases. After I started to cultivate Dafa they all disappeared without taking any medication. Now I am very energetic, and people say I am as lively as a young man.

One day in June 2001, police from the local station illegally arrested me and sent me to a detention center. I felt very depressed at that time and knew I must have some xinxing (mind and heart nature) problems and weak points at this time, to be exploited by the demons. I calmed down and looked inside myself for attachments. When I found it, I said in my heart to the benevolent Master, "Master, I am your student, how did I get to be here, in a detention center? This is not the place for a Dafa practitioner. There is much Fa-rectification work outside waiting for me to do. Master, please help me out, once the opportunity arises! The old forces have arranged my arrest. If Master didn't acknowledge their arrangement, how can I acknowledge it?" Then, I sent forth a thought that I must walk out.

The next day, the detention center ordered the detainees, including some Dafa practitioners and some ordinary people, to submit fingerprints. People were moving forward in the corridor. I was shoved along at the end of the line. When I arrived at the door where they were taking fingerprints, I stopped moving. I thought that I would not cooperate with them, why would I give them my fingerprints? I must leave; otherwise I will lose the opportunity to get away from here! I recited in my heart, "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the evil is completely eliminated." At this time, I realized Master was helping me. I walked through two doors and got to the courtyard. Although there were lots of people gathered there, I walked out calmly, step by step. This is exactly as Master had said, "if you, a disciple, can truly maintain an unshakable calm or be determined to meet different requirements at different levels, this should be sufficient for you to pass the test." I think as a practitioner, we all must strictly require ourselves to meet the standards of Dafa, to cultivate our xinxing at all times, so when we encounter tribulations we will be able to pass them. We should understand the Fa from within the Fa and improve ourselves in the Fa. And that is why I was able to walk out of the detention center in an upright and dignified manner.

After I read Master's scripture "Dafa Disciples' Righteous Thoughts are Powerful"(April 24, 2001), I understood that we are able to break through any tribulation once our righteous thoughts emerge, but we must maintain a pure heart. As long as we follow the process of Fa-rectification, understand the Fa with rationality and follow Master's instructions, there won't be tribulations we cannot break through.
