[China] Another Round of Arrests of Dafa Practitioners from the Vicious
Forces is Expected Before July 20
According to related news, Jiang Zemin's political machine will begin another
round of arrests for Falun Dafa practitioners prior to July 20, the anniversary
of the banning of Falun Gong. The practitioners who still have not stepped
forward should wake up.
All brainwashing classes in every Beijing district were shut down and
practitioners who had been kidnapped into these classes are now detained in
Daxing County for grand-scale brainwashing.
[Beijing] Illegal Arrest of Dafa Practitioner Ke Xingguo
After Ke Xingguo escaped from a brainwashing class, he told of his
experiences there on the Internet. He told of Jiang Zemin's criminal regime's
launching of a new campaign to malevolently assault and slander Falun Dafa. Mr.
Ke also exposed the inhumane tortures of Falun Gong practitioners. When Ke
Xingguo's daring act was discovered, he became a hunted man and opted instead to
wander about as a homeless person.. In order to safeguard Dafa and awaken the
duped public, Ke Xingguo clarified the truth, disregarding his own safety. For
that great deed he was arrested and illegally detained in Hebei Province's
Shenzhou City Detention Center. His treatment in the detention center lacked any
kind of human compassion, since Ke Xingguo was beaten to the point of vomiting
blood, and his lips had turned purple. However, with his determined righteous
thoughts, he did not yield to the vicious forces. He went on a hunger strike to
protest this inhuman torture.
We have heard from a reliable source that between July 5 and July 10, Jiang
Zemin's criminal regime will hold a court session to illegally bring Ke Xingguo
to trial.
[Weifang City, Shandong Province] A Village in Weifang Experiences Disaster:
Law-Breaking Officials Persecute Dafa Practitioners in Muchun Town of Fangzi
District
Since July 20, 1999, vile persons have brutally tortured Dafa practitioners
in Muchun Town of Fangzi District, by beating, fining and detaining them. As a
result, some had to become homeless. Dafa practitioner Meng Qingxi was tortured
to death. The crimes committed by these officials have brought disaster to the
local people. Here is what happened:
On June 19, 2001, heavy and fast-falling hail hit the area. Some of the
hailstones were as big as eggs, which shattered windows and ruined fruit trees
and plants. Vegetable crops were smashed. This was a warning from the heavens to
those criminals who committed crimes against Dafa.

Falun Gong Practitioner, You are Not a Good Policeman," claimed Cui
Qihui, the Mayor of Gaobeidian City
Last December, Cui Qihui, the mayor of Gaobeidian City, made the following
comment during a city police conference, "If you do not break the leg of
Falun Gong practitioner, you are not a good policeman."
[Nanyang City, Henan Province] Officers from Nanyang City's Fire-proofing
Company Persecutes Senior Dafa Practitioners
Female practitioner Zhang Shuqin, over 70 years old, was illiterate. After
she had cultivated Dafa, she was able to read all the Dafa books. On June 25,
2001, police detained her when she posted Dafa materials in Nanyang City. Her
home was ransacked and she was fined.
Female practitioner Liu Shulan, over 60 years old; Wang Xinyi, over 60 years
old. Nanyang City police forcibly took them away from and ransacked their homes.
Nanyang fireproofing Company officials suspended the pension and medical care
benefits of these three kind elders, who are actually very healthy and, since
practicing Falun Dafa, have never seen a doctor. We are told that their
situations are very serious. All kind-hearted people, please pay attention to
their situations.
[Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Recent Edicts Issued by the "610"
Office in Tangshang City
The "610" Office in Tangshang City recently issued several
ill-conceived edicts, one of which is, "All Dafa practitioners who have not
completely given up the practice must be sent to brainwashing school."
[Laishui County, Hebei Province] Jailed Female Dafa Practitioner Liu Jinying
Remains Persistent, Despite all Kinds of Tortures
Laishui County court sentenced Female Dafa practitioner Liu Jinying to five
years in jail. Her four-months appeal was overruled without benefit of hearing
or a trial. The original sentence stands. In early May, she was transferred from
the Laishui Detention Center to Taihang Jail and later was transferred yet
again, this time to the Second Female Group of Shijiazhuang City's No.2 Jail,
for persisting in Fa study and doing Dafa exercises. Because the jail guard
confiscated Zhuan Falun and burned Teacher's articles, she went on a
hunger strike, and received a 13-day stay in a confinement cell. She suffered
severely while in confinement, and was force-fed eight times while her mouth was
pried open with steel pliers. Furthermore, the "Strike Hard Agency"
officials hit her numerous times with a baton and handcuffed her tightly. She
said, "I didn't violate the law, I'm not a criminal!" Almost daily,
four common prisoners dragged her outside or into a factory. Her clothes and
socks wore out from this dragging, her skin was scratched, and black and purple
bruises caused by beatings appeared all over her body. Even so, she still
compassionately advised the jail guards and prisoners, and was always validating
Dafa.
[Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Information from Wuhan City
Female Dafa practitioner Cai Rufen from Xinzhou District was released from
the detention center. After her release, through Fa-study, she realized her
previous misunderstanding of the Fa and returned to Fa-rectification and
cultivation. In the afternoon on Apr. 30, officials from the local police
station and her workplace duped her and sent her into a brainwashing class by
force. They also told her that if she refused to sign the "guarantee
letter," they would detain her forever (This "guarantee letter"
is a document which states that a practitioner will no longer practice Falun
Dafa, will no longer associate with Falun Dafa practitioners, will not go to
Beijing to appeal and will renounce Falun Dafa). She firmly refused to cooperate
with the police and got out of the brainwashing class with righteous thoughts.
She has now become a homeless person who is wandering about the streets, unable
to return to her home or go to work.
[Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] The Situation in Cangzhou City: Dafa
Practitioners are Illegally Detained, Sent to Labor Camp or Sentenced to Prison
Wang Shuang, female, 33 years old, was sentenced to 3 years of forced labor.
She is now held at the Tangshan City Labor Camp, leaving two motherless children
at home: a one-year-old and a three-year-old.
Song Guilan, female. Around June 4, 2001, policemen from Xinhua Police
Station illegally broke into her home and, without due cause, took her away.
Right now she is held at the No.2 Detention Center of Cangzhou City.
Wang Guixin, female, 38 years old. Xinhua District Court administrators
sentenced her to four years in prison. She is now held at Baoding City Mancheng
Prison in Hebei Province.
Liu Yumin, female, was sentenced to four years imprisonmen for spreading Dafa
truth-clarifying materials. She is now held at Chengde City Prison.
Wu Jianqiang, male, vice director of Cangzhou City Plan & Design
Institute, was sentenced to three years of forced labor for clarifying the truth
for Dafa. He is now held at the Shijiazhuang Labor Camp.
Wu Guangjian, male, employee of Dongfeng Plastics Factory, was sentenced to
three years forced labor for going to Beijing for a peaceful appeal in Dec.
2000. He is now held at the Shijiazhuang Labor Camp.
Wang Mingduo, male, employee of the China Construction Bank, was sentenced to
4 years imprisonment for spreading Dafa truth-clarifying materials. He is now
held at Tangshan City Prison.
Wang Jiasheng, male, was sentenced to four years imprisonment for peacefully
appealing in Beijing. He is now held at Tangshan City Prison.
Xiao Ping and Han are held at the Cangzhou City No. 2 Detention Center.
Zhang Jie, Zhu Zonghe and Jia Zhaoqing are held in Cangzhou City No. 1
Detention Center.

Xinchang City Dafa practitioner Yang Zhikai and his mother were illegally
sentenced to two-and-a-half years of forced labor. The son was sent to the
Shiliping Labor Camp and his mother was sent to the Moganshan Labor Camp.
On June 12, after the police forcibly took female practitioner Chen Yan
(Haiyan City) away, they searched her home and confiscated lots of Dafa
materials. They even confiscated her younger brother's computer. She is now held
at a detention center.
