"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination" (Dafa is Indestructible) Sydney to Canberra Walk (Day 2) SOS! Urgent: Rescue the Falun Dafa Practitioners Persecuted in China by an Australian Practitioner DAY 2
START: 7 am, Canterbury Train station
END: 5:30 pm, Ingleburn Train station
We travelled all the way from Canterbury train station, down Canterbury road,
Milperra Road, Newbridge Road, Hume Highway and then exited to Ingleburn.

EXPERIENCE:
We only needed our raincoats for about 20 minutes today. After the fog lifted
around 11 am, the day started to heat up and so did our pace. 35 practitioners
joined the walk today down busy Canterbury Road, with many cars and trucks
beeping and waving in support as they drove by.
We were right on schedule to meet local journalists and photographers along
the way and managed to keep almost everyone together for the whole walk. As my
blisters swelled up, I was amazed by the endurance of the 72-year old lady, who
set the pace, well ahead of us all, on the last leg to Ingleburn, and 11-year
old Tim, who walked almost the entire 35 km and was always able to jump to the
front with a smile and keep up with (if not ahead of!) my long legs, with his
sore feet and all!
Tomorrow we will start the journey at Ingleburn and will continue on the M5
for a few days. We have to consider traffic and all walk in a group on the
motorway, so our numbers may be a bit fewer. We are 2 days, 50 km into the
journey. Although it is painful, it is not painful at the same time. "When
it is difficult to endure, you can endure it. When it is impossible to do, you
can do it." (Zhuan Falun) Time moves so fast, that I am forgetting
what day it is! In two week's time, I will hardly remember any pain that I may
have felt on this journey -- so let's walk on! Related Photo Report: Posting date: 7/15/2001
