French practitioners

Shaken by the news of the latest mass slaughter of practitioners in China, French practitioners held an emergency press conference. Though we only had three days to organize, the biggest TV and radio stations attended. The same day, there was a flash report on the persecution of Falun Gong broadcasted by the national TV at prime time, and the next day we could hear a victim of the persecution interviewed at length on Radio France International. This first press conference paved the way for the future relations between practitioners and the French press to allow the truth of Jiang Zemin's crimes to be revealed to the whole country.

As the press conference ended we walked to the Chinese Embassy to deliver a letter asking Jiang Zemin and his gang to stop the crimes against Falun Gong practitioners immediately. Thirty of us stood there with boards denouncing the persecution right in front of the Chinese official building. We were able to reveal the truth to all passers-by on the slaughter of the 15 female practitioners in Harbin. The French police officers, although they were sent to protect the Embassy from us demonstrators, shook our hands saying that they were on our side. They even read the Falun Gong brochures right on the spot as they were talking with us. We feel that major changes are taking place these days in France, which only strengthens our determination in this period of Fa-rectification.
