4. "Dots of plum blossoms herald the arrival of spring in heaven and on earth" (The tenth stanza of the Plum Blossom Poem)

One early morning, after practitioners performed the second set of the exercises, Gerry's voice suddenly quivered. He told us that when he was embracing the Falun during the exercises, a magnificent scene suddenly unfolded in front of his eyes.

In the center of Tiananmen Square grew a gigantic, blossoming plum tree. Innumerous Dafa practitioners surrounded the tree, extending their respects to those practitioners who gave their lives to safeguard the Fa. At the same time, around the world all Chinese embassies and consulates lowered their flags to salute these Dafa practitioners... That is the time when Fa rectifies the human world.

While speaking of this, Gerry's eyes became moist.

5. "Consider others first, so as to attain the righteous Enlightenment of selflessness and altruism" ("Non-Omission in Buddha-Nature")

After sitting in front of the embassy for a long time, Gerry asked us to bring a broom and try our best to keep the area clean. We also thought about the police who must stand guard for long periods of time, and expressed our thanks to them. Dafa practitioners should always consider others first regardless of the circumstances. Only then will the goodness of Dafa shine through.

On Monday, July 9, two Montreal practitioners came to support us.

6. "The windstorm continues through the night, but there is no need to worry." (The ninth stanza of the Plum Blossom Poem)

On July 10, 3:30 a.m., heavy rains and wind came. One practitioner called to discuss whether Gerry would be able to hold on in the terrible weather.

It was almost 4 a.m. when I called Gerry and found out that he was still up. He is very optimistic. He said that another practitioner finished teaching the exercises to someone at 1 a.m. They had been sharing understandings about Fa when I called. "It's fun," he said. They covered themselves with plastic sheets and did not get wet.

The next morning, Gerry embraced the Falun for a whole hour. When he thought of the persecuted practitioners, who were silently withstanding enormous tribulations in China, he could not hold back his tears. He said that he had never held the Falun for an hour and almost could not make it towards the end. Suddenly a formidable burst of energy bolstered him and gave him the strength to finish.

Just as Master said at the 2001 Canada Falun Dafa Conference, "This Great Law of the cosmos is to leave for beings at different levels in different periods of history references for when problems occur in different periods at different levels, and is to leave for beings ways of handling all kinds of situations that occur at different times in history. That is, all the types of problems that manifest today are references being left to history." ("Teaching the Fa at the 2001 Canada Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference") From that point on, a brand-new page of actively eradicating the evil in the Fa rectification of the universe was turned.

Just as Master said, "As a Dafa disciple, your determined, righteous thoughts are absolutely unshakable, because your newer being is formed precisely amidst the Fa-rectification." ("Dafa is Indestructible") "Every one of us is creating history for the future...As long as something is good for Dafa, you should take the initiative to do it, take the initiative to work on it." ("To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference")
