Feng Xiulan is a 45 year old Dafa practitioner, and a member of the XX Party. She worked as a clerk at the Jiangbin Neighborhood Association Office in the Xi'an District, Mudanjiang City. The police got tipped off after someone deceitfully opened her office mail containing Dafa material. She was illegally arrested on May 15, 2001. Later her husband, Han Jiucheng, was also illegally detained without charge. Both of them are still in jail today.

Meng Qiang is a 25 year old Dafa practitioner. He worked as a clerk at the Jiangbin Neighborhood Association Office in the Xi'an District, Mudanjiang City. He was illegally arrested in early June 2001. The charge was: "insisting on practicing Falun Dafa and refusing to sign 'repentance paper' to the office and police."

Qiu Guohua is a 45 years old Dafa practitioner. She lived at the Jiangbin New Village in Mudanjiang City. During the Chinese New Year in 2000 the police were very paranoid about Falun Gong practitioners going to Beijing to appeal, so they set up a special checkpoint at the entrance to the Train Station. Every passenger had to walk over a picture of Mr. Li Hongzhi that was pasted on the floor. Qiu Guohua and 20 others tried to reason with the police and pick up the picture. They were arrested on the spot. They were sentenced to one-year labor "re-education" after they refused to sign a "repentance affidavit." They are still detained at the Harbin Labor Camp as of today.

Gao Mei is a 48 year old Dafa practitioner and is a resident of the Jiangbin Village in Mudanjiang City. The local police illegally arrested her after she went to Beijing to appeal in October 2000. She was escorted back to Mudanjiang. There, the Government illegally sentenced her to two years labor "re-education" after she refused to sign a "repentance affidavit." She is still being detained at the Harbin Women's Labor Camp.

Before and after the Chinese New Year this year, Mudanjiang police combed through every Dafa practitioner on their list. Each and every one was required to sign the "repentance affidavit." Dafa practitioner Jin Yingzi and Mr. Piao have been put in jail to this day.

During the middle of June 2001, four Dafa practitioners working at the Mudanjiang City Rail went to visit a friend. The police illegally arrested all four without any charge, and illegally searched their home for Dafa books and materials. Only one of them was released, since the police could not find any books at his home. The other three have been under detention up to this day.

On June 30, 2001, 7-8 police officers illegally arrested two Dafa practitioners living in Tielinghe. They also confiscated a large amount of Dafa literature.

In the Sidao Detention Center, Dafa practitioners could only eat small quantities of spoiled corn bread. No fresh water was provided. Rather, they could only drink a small portion of salty water. Each day they must go through brainwashing. They were forced to run 500 laps, sometimes 1000 laps. According to latest report, persecutions of Dafa practitioners at all detention centers have reached an insane magnitude. Due to tight censorship of the reports, it is still not known what kind of mental and physical torments Dafa practitioners are going through. We appeal to all kind-hearted people to show their concern about the latest persecutions of Dafa practitioners. At the same time we must forewarn those who are persecuting Dafa practitioners: do not continue to be used as accomplices for evil deeds. Otherwise what is awaiting you will be abysmal repentance, anguish, and grief.
