(Clearwisdom.net) Following the "plum rain" season (the Spring rainy season in Shanghai), the mercury immediately soared to 37 C (98 F) and stayed at that level for six days before finally retreating a little. Such an abnormal weather occurrence caused residents to rush out to purchase air conditioners. Before the stores opened, buyers were already lining up outside. It was reported that as many as 20,000 air conditioners were sold each day.
If Shanghai intends to become a major international city, the people there need to know the heavenly principles that "good is rewarded with good, evil is met with evil." When the persecution of Falun Gong first began, the leaders in Shanghai could still exercise their judgment. But after the "Human Rights Scoundrel" Jiang Zemin inspected Shanghai and promoted his nephew, a railway worker from the boondocks, to chief of Shanghai City Public Security Bureau, the Shanghai local government intensified its persecution of the Falun Dafa practitioners.
On Chinese New Year's Eve last year, the first group of Dafa practitioners was tricked into the Brainwashing Class held at the base of Mount She in the Qingpu district. Many practitioners went on a hunger strike, refusing food and water. Later, one of them signed a "promise to give up practice" under the wicked influence of those who had been "reformed" in a female detention center. This troubled a lot of people. Some practitioners did not take the Fa as their guide. They thought that if so and so, who had appealed in Beijing several times, wrote a promise, then they could follow suit. Not long after they returned home, Master published his new article, "Suggestion." Those who had come to their senses immediately publicly declared their retraction. As for those who did not sign the promises, their outcome is unknown.
On April 20, 2001, the second Brainwashing Class began. Some Dafa practitioners were actually kidnapped to the "class." Since the article "Suggestion" had already been published, most practitioners refused to cooperate with the "reformed" ones and they are still being kept in the Brainwashing Class to this day.
On June 12, the third Brainwashing Class started. Dafa practitioners were determined not to cooperate with the "reformed" practitioners. On June 26, two Dafa practitioners used their righteous thoughts and walked out of the Brainwashing Class, delivering the persecutors a severe blow. Right now, the police are all out searching for the two Dafa practitioners everywhere.
Each Dafa practitioner taken to the Brainwashing Class has to be accompanied by someone from the same workplace or neighborhood. In actuality, the companion serves as a guard providing 24-hour watch over the practitioner. The Brainwashing Class charges each Dafa practitioner and companion (euphemistically called "helper instructor") 70 Yuan RMB per day per person, which is a complete waste of money and manpower.
Before entering the class, every Dafa practitioner has to undergo a body search. The inspectors rummage through all the personal items, including articles sent by family members. At first, three people shared one room. Later on, each person was confined to a room. The toilet door was removed. This is the Chinese people's "human rights." Who authorized the staff here to take away Dafa practitioners' basic human rights? Ironically, on the gate, the sign "School of Education, Shanghai Legal System" is ostentatiously displayed.
My dear fellow Chinese, I urge you to open your eyes and take a look at all the calamities on this land of ours that are unfolding in front of you. Please wake up. Falun Dafa is the Supreme Law of the Universe. Your perception will affect your future. The mighty Roman Empire was reduced to rubble for their persecution of the Christians. It is the heavenly principle that good and evil will receive their just retribution.
