"Clarify the truth thoroughly, eliminate the evil with righteous thoughts, save all beings, and safeguard the Fa with determination" (Dafa is Indestructible) Street Parade in Korea: The Fa Exhibiting Its Mighty Virtue Amidst the Wind and Rain -- Highlights of Falun Dafa Practitioners Parading and Rectifying the Fa in the Wind and Rain During the Second Anniversary on July 22 in Seoul, Korea (Clearwisdom.net) Maybe it was a time for the Heavens to shed
tears. From early morning until 10:00am on July 22, Seoul was inundated in
torrential rains. Nonetheless, it was in this rainstorm that a coach fully
loaded with Dafa practitioners was heading rapidly towards Seoul. Dozens of Dafa
practitioners from Pusan and Honam respectively were in their cars on their way
to Seoul. The practitioners in the Seoul area determinedly went out of their
homes in the wind and rain to go to Yeoeido Kwangjang. At 11:00 am, there were almost two hundred Dafa practitioners
who came one after another, in spite of the rain. Nobody ever thought that we
could have so many practitioners gathering together. At 12:00 o'clock, a dozen banners with words such as
"Falun Dafa is the Righteous Fa" "Jiang Zemin, immediately stop
persecuting Falun Gong," and "Indignantly denounce the crimes of
killing Falun Gong practitioners in Harbin Wanjia Labor Camp" were unfurled
in the square. The Dafa music was reverberating in the sky above the square. Two
hundred Dafa practitioners simultaneously held up their hands to do the second
set of exercises, regardless of the pouring rain and gusting wind. As on-lookers
were opening their umbrellas or taking shelter from the rain, none of the
practitioners left. Whether they were a 70-year old practitioner or a ten-year
old child, they all finished the half an hour of wheel holding exercises. The solemn and sacred atmosphere that was created by the two
hundred practitioners who were peaceful and determined in the wind and rain made
the on-lookers forget to whisper to each other or move around. After the
exercises and the mourning activities were over in the Yeoeido Kwangjang, Dafa
practitioners paraded across the bridge of Mapoku despite the wind and rain.
After passing the Seoul train station, at 3:40pm, they reached the destination
of Korea Bank. The whole parade covered six kilometers. The Korea Bank is just across from the Chinese Consulate, and
located in the busy Myungdong district. When the Dafa practitioners distributed
the truth-clarifying materials in this area, it was more meaningful for the
Fa-rectification. They did the exercises and sent out the righteous thoughts in
front of the Korea Bank until 5:00pm. During this activity, there were many touching stories. In
the wind and rain, no practitioner was perturbed. Even though several ten-year
old practitioners finished the one-hour exercises, they did not get into the
cars traveling with the parade, nor did a 70-year old practitioner, nor a young
couple who carried their child on their back. They stayed with the line of the
Fa-rectification in spite of the weather. Seeing this, the policemen could not
help saying: "Falun Gong is really great!" This activity obviously was very impressive and memorable to
everyone. For the first time, the Seoul residents saw so many Dafa practitioners
parading through the downtown area; for the first time, the officials from the
departments concerned saw the "community" walking in good order
despite the wind and rain. The government again witnessed the righteous
atmosphere of the Dafa practitioners who were so peaceful in the parade. All
this made the Korean government and people think: "Falun Gong practitioners
are so kind-hearted and peaceful, is it necessary to suppress them? Is it
bearable to persecute these kind-hearted people who have a conscience?" This activity encouraged and motivated all the Dafa
practitioners who participated in the July 22 Fa-rectification activities. Every
one of us was greatly encouraged. Last year on May 13, in the same place, there were only a
little over twenty people. And now in the wind and rain, there came two hundred
practitioners. Early this year, when we organized the practitioners to have a
parade on the street, there were only dozens of people who covered a distance of
eight hundred meters. And today, two hundred practitioners went past the bridge
of Mapoku for six kilometers. After this Fa-rectification activity on July 22, more and
more people in the society heard about Dafa. When the practitioners saw the tremendous changes during the
past year, everyone could not help sighing with enthusiasm: Korea will have a
bright future!
