Stand Up for Righteous Thoughts In Every Moment

Dear All, Beloved Teacher,

I was writing a letter to a friend about some issues I was going through at the moment when the thought struck me that perhaps more people would want to read about and benefit from these ideas.

I feel great pain, grief and compassion over the suffering the persecution has inflicted on China's practitioners and its goodhearted people; while at the same time I feel a great joy and happiness to be one who has the chance to help with the Fa-rectification process. I can hear many people saying how happy they are that they can do something like this. In eliminating the evil and rectifying our thoughts and behaviour with upright intentions and words, we can make a powerful contribution. This also helps us, who live under different circumstances than the practitioners in China, to deal with the problems our attachments bring us, both in our cultivation-environment and in our truth-clarifying activities.

I can very strongly and closely experience the new cosmos our upright thoughts are creating here on earth and I can see new group structures, new ways of working together, and ways of cooperating growing out of this, as well as new attitudes and ways of being. I also believe that if we fight against this new reality and try to continue as before, great difficulties will fall upon us, for we would then be like the old gods in the old cosmos who live and do what they've always done, even though it's actually time for something else to manifest. It's important to go with it now, and it is happening so fast. If we open up to the new power that is increasing, I do think it's going to be a time full of insights for us.

The Master has said that we shouldn't cooperate with the evil. To me this means that I shouldn't go along with negativity, bad conduct and ego games from others or from myself, but instead have the courage to stand up for righteous thoughts and ways of thinking in every moment. This is a challenge, because many people (me included) are not even aware of all the negative thoughts and notions they have. The Master reminded us in "To All Students at the Nordic Fa Conference" that we should act with Compassion, or Shan. So how should we do this? I've come to the conclusion that instead of pointing things out (if it's not appropriate for just that very situation), we can remind each other about upright thoughts and behaviour. In other words, we should compassionately remind ourselves and others how to improve. The evil is now showing itself clearer and clearer as we do Fa-rectification, and this also puts higher demands on us with respect to how we solve problems with Shan as they arise. The reason for this is that the Fa-rectification process, and our cultivation process along with it, brings us closer to this divine principle and we no longer can bear judging and condemning thoughts in our mind.

Sometimes it feels like I'm completely dissolving and vanishing into light when the power comes stronger; yet I also fight against it sometimes because of a fear of disappearing. Afterwards I feel regret and say to myself, "Why didn't you go along with the process completely?" I have experienced big changes in my body and mind as a result of being in Dafa and as a particle of the Fa. I'm more and more melting into this immenseness, and I'm experiencing attachments coming up in my mind. I'm giving up the fight against them and against life, going out of them and away from them and out into a new state of being. I also have a big cleansing process going on in my body that I have to pass and resolve in the proper way. And this gives me more acceptance and endurance for all aspects of life. It's really wonderful to have these periods of enlightment.

I'm so grateful for being able to experience and participate in this wonderful big change, and this divine mission-- and that I can share this experience with millions of other practioners.
