1. [China] Using Master's Verse to Eliminate Our Own Thought Karma
Some practitioners have talked about eliminating our own thought karma by
using Teacher's verse. I would also like to add my experiences on this topic.
I have much thought karma, and I was often controlled by it and did things
that a practitioner should not do. When the article "Send Forth Righteous
Thoughts" appeared on Clearwisdom, I tried to use the verse that the Master
taught us to eliminate my own thought karma. After I recited the verse "The
Fa rectifies the Cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated." three times, I
clearly felt my thought karma being eliminated. Since that time, I have silently
recited the verse whenever I felt the appearance of thought karma or external
interference. I have also talked to my fellow practitioners about this
experience.
Enlightened by the article on Clearwisdom, whenever I see or hear about
anything that is not in accordance with Dafa, I silently recite the verse to
help Teacher in the Fa rectification. Sometimes I can feel the effects after
reciting it for three times, and other times I keep reciting for several
minutes.
2. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Voices of Dafa Broadcasting Reverberate
through the Skies
At 8:40 AM on July 2, voices broadcasting the truth about Dafa suddenly began
to be heard on Sanli Street. Pedestrians and the residents nearby all listened
to the broadcast. Although it was very hot, people stayed to learn more about
the truth of Dafa until some policemen took the devices away at around 1 PM.
During the whole process, practitioners used their righteous thoughts to
eliminate interference from the evil.
3. [Lanzhou City, Gansu province] A Seven Meter Long Dafa Banner Appears On
the Bridge over the Yellow River
One day this July, practitioners in Lanzhou City hung a seven-meter long
(about 21 feet) banner on the bridge over the Yellow River. The bridge is close
to the villas of many government officials of the province. The red characters
on the golden banner shone brightly and exemplified the power of Dafa. Before
they went to hang up the banner, practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts and
were able to return safely. When policemen patrolling the river noticed the
banner, they frantically scrambled to take it off.
4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Kind Hearted People Actively Preserve
Evidence for Falun Gong
Dafa practitioners put a large number of visual CD's into the mailboxes of
local residents. After viewing the content, many people learned the truth about
the "self-immolation" incident. One person found some Dafa
practitioners and told them, "I have watched the visual CD, and I think it
speaks the truth. The policeman was holding the blanket (that was used to put
out fire) and stood there, but he did not really try to put out the fire. I will
keep the visual CD. It is not safe to leave it in your home, since the police
often come to harass you. When the Falun Gong issue is re-examined, this will be
part of the proof."
5. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Dafa Practitioners' Righteous Thoughts
Eliminate Slanderous Pictures in the Changchun Train Station
Two pictures slandering Dafa hung in the waiting room of the Changchun Train
Station. Local practitioners first sent forth righteous thoughts to eliminate
the evil. Then on July 15, two practitioners walked into the train station with
courage and determination. When they were about to tear down the pictures, a
disturbance suddenly occurred behind them. Two people in the crowd were cursing
at each other, and everyone's attention was focused on them. The practitioners
used this opportunity to destroy one of the pictures that slandered Dafa, and
both of them returned safely. However, there was still one picture left on the
wall. Later the practitioners realized that Teacher only wants our determined
hearts to cultivate Dafa. Everything is under Teacher's control, and how well
things go depends on where practitioners set their minds at the critical times.
6. [China] The Story of Huihui
Huihui is eleven years old, and she has been a Dafa practitioner since 1996,
when she started to practice with her mother. She is a very pure child and can
often see Teacher's law body while practicing and in her daily life. Since the
persecution started, Huihui often went out to clarify the truth about Falun Gong
with her mother. They have posted and distributed fliers that clarify the truth,
and have done a lot of work for Dafa.
7. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Crimes Committed against Dafa Practitioners
by the Police
Yue Jiangming is a policeman in the Administrative Protection Division of
Changji City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and his deeds have been exposed on
Clearwisdom before. In April of 2000, during an interrogation, Yue and his
associates found Dafa materials, including Teacher's new articles, while
searching practitioner Geng Zhengjie. They then beat Geng and tried to force him
to tell them the source of the Dafa materials. Geng Zhengjie guarded his xinxing
very well and kept silent. Flustered and exasperated, Yue Jiangming ordered his
associates to torture the practitioner for several days and nights. However, the
steadfast practitioner remained silent about the source of the Dafa materials
and clarified the truth about Dafa to them. Frustrated, they turned Geng over to
another department that handles criminal cases. These policemen tortured him so
badly that he fainted three or four times. Each time, the policemen woke him up
by dashing him with cold water. Still, they could not make him talk. Where Geng
Zhengjie is being detained currently is not known.
Zhou Jun is a female practitioner in Kuerle City, Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
She was arrested in October 2000. Since she is a single mother, her
five-year-old child had to be sent to the family of Zhou Jun's brother. In
January 2001, while being held in the Kuerle Detention Center, she was caught
practicing the exercises. At the time, two inmates were found practicing with
her. Guard Tuni Shayu shocked Zhou Jun with her electric baton repeatedly and
then handcuffed her in a special way--one hand coming down her back from her
shoulder, and the other hand going up behind her back. Being handcuffed in this
way causes excruciating pain. In the Kuerle Detention Center, if a practitioner
is found practicing the exercises, the punishment is to be handcuffed in this
way for more than four hours. The other two inmates who practiced with Zhou Jun
were also handcuffed this way. Crying and shouting, the two inmates said that
they would never practice the exercises again, and they could be heard from very
far away. Many inmates in the detention center shed tears upon hearing their
cries. After more than four hours of this, the guards took off their handcuffs,
but Tuni Shayu shocked Zhou Jun with her electric baton yet again. As a result,
Zhou remained bedridden for four days and four nights. She is still being
detained in the Kuerle Detention Center.
Liu Lu is a female practitioner from Wulumuqi City. In December 2000, she was
arrested while posting fliers that clarified the truth about Dafa and sent to
the Kuerle Police Department. Because she refused to tell them her name and
address, policeman Zhao Ze tortured her for several hours. While beating Liu,
Zhao said to her, "The national government has already determined the
nature of Falun Gong, why are you still making trouble?" Liu Lu replied,
"If there had been no injustice, then no one would have appealed and posted
fliers telling people the truth." Zhao had no reply. After resting for a
while, Zhao then continued to torture her and ask her for her name and address.
Finally, seeing that they could not succeed, the policemen tried to take a
picture of her. However, Liu Lu did not cooperate with them. Five or six of them
ganged up on her and pushed her to the ground. Liu denounced them loudly,
"How can you be persecuting Dafa practitioners like this!" Since her
face was distorted from the torture, they had to take another picture of her six
days later. Liu Lu is currently being detained in the Kuerle Detention Center.
Liu Yilan is a 55-year-old female practitioner and retired official from the
Yanerwo region. On November 23, 2000, she was arrested while passing out
materials that clarified the truth about Dafa. She was sentenced to three years
in a labor camp.
Zhao Jinxiang is a 41-year-old female practitioner from the Yanerwo region.
On November 23, 2000, she was arrested while distributing Dafa materials with
Liu Yilan. She was also sentenced to three years in a labor camp.
8. [Qinghai Province] Some Facts about the Persecution of Dafa Practitioners
Zhang Qingyuan is a female practitioner. She was arrested in the middle of
June 2001 while posting fliers. Because she refused to tell the police her name
and address, she was tortured and sentenced to prison. She has been on a hunger
strike to protect Dafa. Her life is in danger.
He Wanji and Zhao Xiangzhong (a couple) distributed Dafa materials in Zhou
County in June. They were turned in and later arrested. They were detained and
tortured.
Tao Hang is a male practitioner. He was arrested while posting materials
clarifying the truth of Dafa in June. He was tortured and then sent to a labor
camp.
Sun Dayou is a male practitioner who worked in the Minhe Tobacco Bureau. He
was arrested in early June while posting materials clarifying the truth of Dafa.
Liu Jinguo is a male practitioner who was arrested while posting fliers.
Miao Qing is a female practitioner. She was turned in by an informer,
arrested, and sentenced to three years in a labor camp.
9. [Lanzhou City, Gansu province] News from the Pingantai Labor Camp
After practitioner Song Yanzhao was tortured to death (as reported by
Clearwisdom), in order to safeguard the Dafa and mourn Song, some practitioners
from the fourth and fifth section decided to hold a group practice at 4:00 AM
and 5:00 AM everyday. The guards were shocked by this but did not dare to act
rashly, and the group practice continued for several days. One day, a crowd of
guards led by Supervisor Dai of the Administration Section and Assistant
Supervisor Li Guoyuan rushed in and confined all the practitioners. The guards
then handcuffed and shackled the practitioners in a way so that they could not
stand up straight or squat down. They restrained the practitioners in this
position continuously and did not release them even for eating and using the
bathroom. It was reported that as of July 10, more than ten practitioners were
still being tortured like this, and their current situation is still unknown. We
only know the names of following practitioners who are being tortured in this
way: Li Mingyi (former Director of the Falun Gong Assistance Center of Qilihe
district), Niu Wanjiang, and Qian Shiguang (senior engineer of the Western Geology
Institute).
The Pingantai Labor Camp has learned from the Masanjia and Wanjia Labor
Camps, implementing the policy of "three people supervising each
other." Each Dafa practitioner is assigned to be with two common criminals
at all times. Whenever the practitioner is tortured or punished, the two
criminals also suffer the same way. Although practitioners are facing extremely
difficult circumstances, most of them still steadfastly stick to Dafa. They are
silently correcting and changing their environment. Many criminals in the labor
camp were moved by their great compassion and have helped practitioners gain
opportunities to study the Fa and do the exercises. There is even one prisoner
who was found practicing Falun Gong and consequently tortured badly.
A few practitioners had thought, "We cannot study the Fa and do the
exercises here, and we cannot do work for Dafa either. It is better to write
some documents renouncing Falun Gong to get out first, and then do work for Dafa
after being released." But after studying Teacher's new articles and
through sharing experiences, they strengthened their righteous thoughts,
eliminated their misunderstandings, and rescinded their statements.
Currently the Pingantai Labor Camp imprisons over 200 Dafa practitioners, 80
of them female. Many practitioners have told their families, "If I die here
one day, it was due to their torture, I did not commit suicide."
Recently, the director of the fifth section Wang Wenchang, who directly
participated in killing Song Yanzhao, was fired, and the supervisor of the
section, Bao Ping, was reprimanded. Inmate Zhu Qikui, who often beats and curses
practitioner Li Jiankui from Ningxia province, is suffering from various
symptoms. However, the hospital could not diagnose him with any illness.
10. [Liuan City, Anhui Province] Practitioners Sent to Hefei Female Labor
Camp
Practitioners Shao Hongmei and Zhang Yongjing from Liuan City were sent to
the Hefei Female Labor Camp by the local police. The police did not go through
any legal procedures, and their families were not informed afterwards. Much
later, the Jinan District Police Station informed their families that they were
sentenced to one year in a labor camp.

11. [Beijing] Female Dafa Practitioner Chen Jianli from the Beijing
Petrochemical Corporation Sentenced to Three Years in a Labor Camp
Chen Jianli was sentenced to three years in a labor camp for appealing in
Tiananmen Square during the Chinese New Year and refusing to write statements
denouncing Dafa. Chen's young daughter no longer has her care, and her grades
have declined greatly. Her elderly parents have both been hospitalized. Even an
award for her work unit was cancelled, and her colleagues' bonuses were reduced.
12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Hewan Labor Camp Extends Dafa Practitioners'
Sentences
Recently, the Hewan Labor Camp prolonged the detention period for
practitioners whose terms were due but still continued to cultivate in Dafa. The
labor camp officials have openly said that the extension was purely due to them
not relinquishing their beliefs. Some were given three more months, while others
were given half a year. Some female practitioners have started a hunger strike
in protest. We hope all the kind-hearted people can pay attention to the
persecution of Dafa practitioners, and we also sincerely warn these wicked
people of the due retribution of good and evil.
13. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Officials Forbid Practitioner's Brother
from Visiting Him after Being Separated for Fifty Years
In the Linyi Labor Camp, a female practitioner persisted in doing the
exercises and was discovered by the guards. They put a set of shackles weighing
55 to 65 pounds on her and ordered two inmates to supervise her. The guards
forced her to run and shout, "I am being punished for practicing Falun
Gong," until she collapsed to the ground in exhaustion.
A detained practitioner has not seen his brother for over fifty years. His
brother came from Taiwan to visit him recently. However, the guards refused to
allow him to see his brother. They said, "We cannot let him in. Otherwise,
it would be very bad publicity after he goes back."
14. [Beijing] Partial List of People Responsible for Persecution from
Changping County
Wang Zhenhua, vice party secretary of Changping District, often viciously
slanders Teacher and Dafa. He has organized over a dozen brainwashing classes in
the Changping district. Those who participated include Huang from the Changping
610 office and Supervisor Sun from the armed forces department of Dongxiaokou
Township.
The Huoying police substation of Changping District has used various base
tactics to arrest Dafa practitioners. Policeman Yang Yichun and Wei are always
eager to seize practitioners, so that they would be rewarded. Under Teacher's
guidance and sending forth righteous thoughts, most practitioners have not been
arrested.
15. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] List of People Responsible for Persecution
and Cases of Retribution in Jiuzhan District
Pan Guoli works for the Jiuzhan Law Agency. He has enthusiastically
persecuted Dafa practitioners in several brainwashing classes, slandering Dafa
and Teacher. He has said many times, "If Falun Gong's fate reverses one
day, I will be the first person killed."
Li Shucheng also works for the Jiuzhan Law Agency. He has organized many
brainwashing classes and slandered Dafa during those classes.
Dong is a policeman in the Jiuzhan police substation. Since he started work
in March of last year, he has become a goon who specializes in beating up
practitioners. He has participated in arresting every Dafa practitioner.
Additionally, Dong has harassed practitioners in the district and ransacked
their homes many times.

Gao Hongyi is the head of the Politics & Security Section at the local
Public Security Bureau. He has organized brainwashing classes and sent
practitioners to labor camps many times. Practitioner Wei Xiaolan was released
from the detention center, but Gao wanted to send her to a labor camp. Wei
Xiaolan had no choice but to flee from her home. Gao Hongyi still did not spare
her and threatened her mother. He told her that if Wei did not return within a
set time period, he would send out warrants for her arrest.

Several cases of retribution
1, The assistant secretary of the district committee, who is in charge of the
Jiuzhan 610 office, went to some rural areas to persecute Dafa practitioners. He
was in an accident on his way back, suffering fractures of his skull and legs.
2, Fu Wancai, who is in charge of the Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, closely
followed Jiang Zemin in persecuting Dafa practitioners. He fired everyone who
went to Beijing to appeal and stopped paying pensions to retired practitioners.
He organized many brainwashing classes and has used all available manpower of
the factory to persecute Falun Gong. He soon became sick and was diagnosed with
throat cancer.
3, A local female janitor was assigned to tear off Falun Gong flyers posted
on light poles. She died in an accident two days after carrying out her
assignment.
16. [China] Two Examples of Immediate Retribution in This Lifetime
1. Zheng Yongjun, Vice Secretary of the party committee at Zhoukou Central
Hospital of Henan Province, often persecuted Dafa. He was recently diagnosed
with lung cancer.
2. One of my neighbors turned me in when I was distributing truth-clarifying
literature around the Chinese New Year, leading to my arrest. After I was
released around February 8 from the detention center, my work unit fired me.
Recently, I found out that my former work unit hasn't signed any contracts since
the Chinese New Year. The company did pretty well last year and exceeded
expectations, and employees received a generous year-end bonus. Now the company
has met its retribution for mistreating Falun Gong. For half a year it has
"failed to sign even one very small contract" (quoted from a former
colleagues.)
