The Power of Righteous Thoughts
I am a female Dafa practitioner from northeastern China. In early June, when I was posting Dafa flyers, a middle-age man suddenly appeared. He was very ferocious in his attempt to stop me. I then calmly and sincerely explained Dafa to him, and clarified the truth on how Jiang Zemin is persecuting Dafa practitioners. But this man didn't listen to me, and prevented me from posting Dafa leaflets.
At that time, I felt very calm in my heart, and thought, "If you are a bad person who wants to damage Dafa, you should freeze there." As soon as this thought flashed in my mind, the miracle occurred. The man stood stunned and frozen on the spot. I posted the remaining leaflets and went home safely. Several days later when I read Mr. Li Hongzhi's new article "What Are Supernormal Abilities," I felt excited for a long time. One day several Dafa practitioners went out to distribute Dafa literature. It took them a long time to finish, and on their way back they found the police were checking IDs ahead. These Dafa practitioners then sent out righteous thoughts, "You are not allowed to come here, go away." As a result, the police checked everybody's ID but these Dafa practitioners', and they all went home safely.
I Must Go Out To Continue To Clarify the Truth
For distributing Dafa truth-telling materials in April 2001, the local police arrested a Dafa practitioner. After finishing the written record, the police intended to send her to a detention center. She then sent out righteous thoughts, "I should not be persecuted by the evil, I must go out and continue to clarify the truth." As a result, the car that was assigned to send her suddenly wouldn't start. The police let her wait in the reception room for another car. She then escaped from the police substation. On the road, she thought, "It would be very nice to take a taxi." Soon a taxi came and took her to a fellow practitioner's home.
The Evil Force Shouldn't Control Me
A Dafa practitioner was arrested while on her way to Beijing to appeal in May. She was sent to the Dalian Drug Rehabilitation Center and all the guards in the center knew her. She was thinking, "I shouldn't be controlled by the evil force, and must eradicate the evil." That night, she and over 10 other practitioners broke the lock of the cell on the fourth floor (the guards didn't notice it at all), and stepped out of the building right in front of a ferocious police dog. The dog didn't even bark. The high gate of the drug rehabilitation center couldn't stop them either, and they walked out of the drug rehabilitation center openly and with dignity. The local police went to her home twice after that, but she was not in. Now this practitioner is homeless.
Humans Can't See Gods
A practitioner was posting truth-clarifying flyers on a hot summer evening. Many people were out to get some cool air, and the area was very well lit. She sent forth righteous thoughts. While posting the material she silently recited, "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated." When she was posting a leaflet on an electricity pole, she suddenly heard a man cough on the second floor balcony of a building. He was in a position to observe her, but he didn't. She understood that benevolent Teacher was warning her.
One day, an elderly female practitioner was posting truth-clarifying literature. Just before she could post the flyer, an old man came up. This practitioner immediately concealed the paper in her hand. The old man loudly questioned her as to what she was hiding in her hands and tried to grab it. After he found out it was Falun Gong materials, he threatened to send her to the police substation. In the beginning the old practitioner was very scared. She suddenly thought, "didn't Mr. Li say 'Dafa Practitioners' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful.'" She then said to the old man "freeze," and the old man immediately stood there frozen. So she took the materials from his hands and left. After she walked away some distance, she thought, "I should release him." She then turned back and said to him "release." He then staggered away.
A Child's Two Yuan
A female practitioner's daughter is an elementary school student; she knows that many Dafa practitioners are homeless and are living in awful situations. She gave her mother two Yuan that was given by her aunt to buy an eraser (translator's note, the average monthly salary is 500 Yuan in China) and asked her mother to help other Dafa practitioners with this two Yuan. The child's pure heart really moved and encouraged us.
The Evil Force Had No Time To Regain Its Consciousness At All
On June 25, police arrested eight Dafa practitioners from Shuangqiaozi, Chendu City. Gao, a female practitioner sent forth strong righteous thoughts and rushed out of the gate, immediately leaving in a taxi. At that moment, the police didn't realize what happened and just watched her disappearing into the crowd. This is the power of the Fa of the universe.
Using Righteous Thoughts To Face the Evil Is the Key To Pass the Test.
At 9:00 pm on June 21, in a city in the south, five of us practitioners were having dinner in a rental apartment, when the landlord knocked at the door and told us that the police would check all the apartments there that evening. I thought that the checking might start at midnight. Another practitioner and I planned to leave, only to discover that dozens of policemen had already surrounded the building and blocked all the exits. Facing this situation, the five of us sat down to send forth righteous thoughts and silently recited, "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated" to eradicate the evil. At that time, the five of us were sitting in a very small room, and it was very hot, but we could feel the cool air blowing in. During the time when we were sending forth the righteous thoughts, the electricity was suddenly cut, and it was completely dark. Some of the police began to leave; there were only five or six remaining downstairs. We continued to send forth the righteous thoughts till 1:00 am. The evil couldn't approach us at all during that period. They had to leave, and the building became quite again.
After that, we shared our experiences, and felt the strong power of sending righteous forth thoughts. We all saw that bad things both internally and externally had been removed and felt Master Li's benevolence.
I was enlightened to a higher level Fa through this incident, and removed another layer of human shell. I realized that when facing the evil, we can't be flustered, nor can we use a human's notions to get around, protect, and hide ourselves We should use righteous thoughts to actively eradicate the evil. Because Teacher told us, "Dafa Practitioners' Righteous Thoughts Are Powerful" and explained to us "What Are Supernormal Abilities", actually we are all capable. á
A Dafa practitioner from Huailai Country, Hebei Province was dismissed from his work unit for going to Beijing to validate Dafa and was monitored by the local police. During the so-called sensitive time, the police went to his home many times to force him to write repentance statements; otherwise, the police would arrest him. In order not to cooperate, he refused to sign the statement, but the police tried all means to force him to sign. At this moment, this practitioner enlightened that it was a good opportunity to promote Dafa. So he wrote down "Falun Dafa Is Good, Restore the Reputation of Dafa" without any hesitation, and at the same time, declared that all the repentance statements he wrote were void.
