On a sunny July 1, Russian practitioners went to downtown Moscow and held "Falun Dafa Day" activities. Before this event, we encountered much interference from the evil force. We had to overcome various difficulties and obstacles by constantly sending out righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil force that attempted to damage Dafa. These tribulations turned out to be opportunities for us to upgrade our xinxing. After long negotiations, we finally received permission from the appropriate officials. We eventually decided to set the date for July 1, when delegations from countries around the world came to the International Olympic Committee meeting. During that time the committee would vote on the next sponsoring country, and Jiang Zemin was also to be in Moscow.
We made three large display boards and hung a yellow banner with red letters "Falun Dafa." In the noontime, our field was full of golden lights. Some practitioners demonstrated the exercises; others distributed flyers and introduced Dafa to the passers-by. In the audience, a Hispanic man carefully read about the truth of persecution and listened to our introduction. He asked us whether there are practice sites in Spain. We told him that we believed that there were. If not, we said, "We hope you will become a practitioner who promotes Falun Dafa." He said "Yes" with a kind smile.
Many uniformed and plainclothes police came to maintain order for this activity. They also carefully listened to our explanation. They shared their confusion in trying to understand why China persecutes Falun Gong. Practitioners explained the truth, and they gladly accepted a Falun Dafa book in Russian.
Our group activities lasted for two hours, from noon until 2:00pm. Before finishing the activities, practitioners sat together and sent forth righteous thoughts. After quieting our minds and eliminating outside evil interference, we silently recited, "The Fa rectifies the cosmos, the Evil is completely eliminated" to eradicate all evil. After the activities, practitioners continued to distribute Dafa materials.
Almost every practitioner wore the yellow sportswear with "Falun Dafa" in Russian and Chinese. We were deeply immersed in our Teacher's great benevolence to all beings.
